when was the last year that both the LA Lakers and the Utah Jazz missed the playoffs?

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar has the most consecutive seasons scoring in double digits with 20. Karl Malone is second with 19. This player is tied with Moses Malone at 18.

When was the last year that both the Washington Wizards and Boston Celtics MADE the playoffs?

That would be 1997 when they got cornholed by the Bulls...

another interesting note...The Bulls didn't lose a single first round playoff game during their six championship runs...

I'm gonna guess Jerry West on the player tied with Malone.

yeah... that's the only one i can answer without looking it up. the wizards and the celts... not in the 90s because the celts didn't make it in 97. but in the eighties both teams were good. so they would have both been in multiple times.

    That's a tough one...

I know that the last time LA missed the playoffs it was the 1993-1994 season, but the Jazz were obviously in it.

The last time the Jazz missed the playoffs was before Malone was even drafted during the Dantley/Eaton era...so circa 1983-84. But that was right when the Lakers were in their heyday and making multiple trips to the finals.

I'm guessing it must've been in the mid-to-late 70s, probably before the Lakers got Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

Are you trying to trick us again with the Jazz/Lakers question?

The Jazz moved to Utah in 1979...so the answer is never?
