The network really subdued him this year. Instead of a stupid ass comment every 5 seconds, it's one every 5 minutes. I noticed how they spoon feed him some pet plays by the playing teams to call out in order to make him look more credible instead of exposing him as some idiot who got lucky on NBC and was carried over because ESPN was desperate for NBA reporters.

Something about his idiot comments reminds me of the random actor of the moment who thinks their opinion matters in politics.

I think we should prank call them and have a bunch of pizzas that they didn't order delivered to their houses.

    But that's just me.

That's great. Please find the phone number and address for the guy, so that we can call for the order when they do another Rocks game.

BTW: I voted on the site. the guy's number tanked after 3 negative votes. Hahaha... Clutch fans, we got power!

I think Tom Tolbert is really good. He is actually my favorite color commentator. He makes telecasts funny and entertaining. He's very objective. Why is everybody piling on him?

Rockets fans must not rest until we get at least ONE Rockets ass-kisser in the national broadcast booth. ;)

The only two people I like as color commentators are Steve "Snapper" Jones, and Hubie Brown. Both don't go off on goofy one liners nor do they ride the bandwagon of a team riding a decent win streak. Anybody else you can almost bank on being paid to advertise a specific team, specific player, and go out of their way to criticize the opposing team unless they absolutely have to. They're not analysts. They're flip flopping cheesy paid advertisers disguised with the job name of a color analyst.

Tob Tolbert is gold. The first thing he ever said on national television was in the middle of a roundtable Wilt Chamberlain discussion. Something like, "I don't care about the 100-point game...what I'm really impressed with is the 20,000 women. I mean, this guy got more tail than Fusaichi Pegasus."

I've never had a huge problem with him, other than that he reminds me of someone who would be in Jim Rome's click. Granted, he is cocky, and thinks his opinion matters, but hey, wouldn't you if you were on TV?
