Sonics are not playing to win, they are resting for the playoffs, locked into the number 3 seed.

    Rocks need it more...

It's really interesting to me that BOTH Seattle and Houston probably want to play each other badly! And they have two games this late in the season...

Houston wants Seattle because of the alternatives.

Seattle should want Houston because Denver is playing out of their minds (and just finished destroying Seattle, albeit an injured Seattle). The Nugs are attacking the rack with ferocity and are hitting from the outside as well.

I haven't forgotten about Memphis but I don't think they can leapfrog both teams.

So any Seattle followers out there, do us all a favor and use this week to sharpen up those 11th and 12th men on your bench - hey you might need them for the playoffs, ya never know!

The Nugz are hot right now, and are running people out of the gym. But matchups wise, would you rather face Tmac or Melo? Once you've answered that question, would you rather face Yao or Kmart? Then, would you rather face the Nuggets' shooters in Dermarr Johnson and Wesley Person, or Barry, Wesley, James, and Padgett? And I haven't even mentioned Deke, and the huge impact he always makes defensively, especially in the playoffs (see spurs vs nets) when physical play is more commonplace. According to matchups, which are the most important thing in the playoffs, they most definately don't want to play the rockets over the nuggets.

The Rockets MUST win this game.

...because one of my friends here at school is from Washington state and it would kill me to let him rub a loss in.

Roxs blow the Sonics out. They are in need of this game to stay ahead of the Nuggets. Yao will go off for 30 tonite in a big bounce back game.

If the Sonics are as depleted as you guys say, we don't really need Yao to beat them. Nevertheless, we should kick the sht out of them.

Anybody know when Rashard Lewis is expected back. The Sonics really miss him and if he is not back by the playoffs then they will probably get beat in the first round.

I don't think Seattle wants us badly. They want Sacramento or Memphis. No one wants us "badly"

We still have a slim chance to get home court advantage in playoffs. With the way Sonics is playing now and the remaining schedule, 1-4 is very possible. If we can win all of the remaining games, we'll get the home court advantage with #6 seed. So this game is important for both teams.

    95-90 Rox win.

Yeah, because home-court advantage is decided by better record, not the higher seeding.

We can't get home court advantage. The first three spots are guaranted for the division winners (San Antonio, Seattle/Denver, Phoenix). Dallas has the fourth spot.

We are not going to have a better record than any of the division winners
