I caught a bit of Night Shift tonight - love that movie - and saw a little girl in one scene that looked awfully familiar. Sure enough, it was Shannon Dougherty as a Bluebell (girl scout). Funny thing is that there were two other small roles in this one with people I recognized.

Jaid Berrymore - credited under a different name.
    Richard Beltzer
Kevin Costner - as that famous character, Frat Boy #1

I just love finding stuff like that.

Yep, I was watching The Fury a few nights ago and one of the students in the girl's school was Daryl Hannah.

The other day, I noticed that Gary Sinise was an extra (non-speaking role) sitting in a bar in Major League.

    cool site too

well to keep in lines with this thread, I would have to say that i also recently watched earth girls are easy. that movie had jeff Goldbloom, Damon Waynes, Gina Davis, and Jim Carey. it probably cost them like 200k for all 4 of them back then, immagine how much they would all demand now for a movie [IMG]

One too many paint balls to the head.

I don't think a casting agent would have to fork over that much dough to: jeff Goldbloom, Damon Waynes, Gina Davis, and Jim Carey.

Now, if he/she tried to cast: Jeff Goldblum, Damon Wayans, Geena Davis, and Jim Carrey, then they'd have probably have to break the bank.... [IMG]

Voice: I watched Any Given Sunday the other night and noticed the same thing - unbelievable amount of star power. Hell, Oliver Stone even worked in the booth with Barry Switzer in addition to directing it.

That was a very impressive cast, no doubt.

Both John and Joan Cusack were in sixteen candles. John was one of Anthony-Michael Halls nerdy friends while Joan was Long-duc Dong's (gotta love that name) girlfriend (she wore a neck brace in the movie).

Fast Times at Ridgemont High - Both Anthony Edwards and Nicolas Cage played friends of Judge Reinhold.

Harrison Ford was also in American Graffiti.

    ooh... sorry bobrek...
Joan Cusack was NOT Long-Duck Dong's GF...
She did wear a neck brace though.. She's the one that got the drink of water at the dance, then wiped her mouth with the dress of the girl that was sewed on it... funny stuff.

sorry to be such a stickler..

That's the one the movie I'm looking forward to the most in 2001. My favorite director, Mr. Soderbergh, is at the helm.

I was watching an episode of The Banana Splits not too long ago, and I saw Jan-Michael Vincent (you might remember him from such tv shows as AirWolf) in one of their shows within the show. And Richard Donner was listed as director or Producer of the show (He would later direct such films as Lethal Weapon and Superman, among others).

Did anyone see that movie that came out in 1992 called "The Trust"? It was shot around Houston and was about the life of William Marsh Rice (the founder of Rice University).

Well there was one scene with a very young cop that comes in to inform people that an autopsy was going to take place and Rice would have to wait before he was cremated.

A wonderful bit of acting by that young actor in his first major film. Who was that young actor? You might ask.

    It was me!
