Anyone going to watch it tomorrow? - Batista vs. HHH - John Cena vs. JBL - R. Orton vs. Undertaker - K. Angle vs. HBK - Big Show vs. Akebono (Sumo Champion) - R. Mysterio vs. Eddie Guerrero - Christy Hemme vs. Trish Stratus - 6 man match for the 1-year World Championship contract and SCSA w/ Roddy Piper in the Piper's PIT!
i was supposed to go to it out here but my friend who bought me a ticket said there was a girl that wanted to go with him and is taking her instead. i am upset cuz this girl is cute and all and there is no way he has a shot with her cuz she has been going out with a guy for the past 3 years and are engaged now. the girls fiance (who is a good friend of mine) said she is basically using him to go to wrestlemania and thats it. i am pretty pissed at this my friend wont listen to me and still thinks its cuz this girl likes him. i paid him already for the ticket and he gave me the money back + the cost of ordering it on ppv but still i am pissed i aint going, i've been to every wrestlemania thats been here in socal.
should be a solid PPV, but maybe still one of the weaker ones. Last year was pretty weak in my opinion and I still think Wrestlemania 18 was solid top to bottom
I wonder if they flip coins to see who is gonna win these fake matches?..... Perhaps the winner springs for chilis for the whole acting crew....
They've done a phenomenal job with the buildup this time around. For the first time in two years, only one match has an obvious outcome (JBL/Cena). I'm very excited for the Austin/Piper segment, and Hogan's induction into the Hall of Fame.
which one was in Houston? 17 or 18? that one was badass. i hadn't even watched wrestling for a few months before it and i haven't really watched any wrestling since then, but that was an amazing atmosphere. TLC II, shane vs vince, and then HHH vs the hometown Undertaker (awesome match), and then capped off with The Rock vs Stone Cold. that last match was amazing and, as weird as this is to say for a fake event, you could feel the electricity in the air. both huge stars, people mostly going for stone cold (at least it seemed that way) b/c of him being from Texas but still a large amount going for The Rock. both doing each other's moves. i don't even know who cena, jbl, or batista are and i wouldn't know who christy hemme was if she wasn't on the cover of my roommate's Playboy this month. is Undertaker still undefeated at Wrestlemania?
First of all, it is WrestleMania 21. I guess they don't want to use Roman Numerals anymore. The only other time they didn't use Numerals was 13, 17, and 18. 17, which was X-Seven, and 18 which was X-8. And 16 was called 2000. Me too, I've been to every WrestleMania in Houston. that's only one for those keeping track. no no no, that's not how it works. If you are married to the owner's daughter, you always get to win. that's how. They don't flip coins. They say, hey you, you are going to go over cleanly. That means you will win by pinfall or submission. and to predicitions The Undercard. Rey "stole my bike "Mysterio vs Eddie Guerrero I pick heel turn by eddie. Money in the bank, six man ladder match. I will pick Shelton Benjamin Christy Hemme vs. Trish Stratus I will pick Trish Sumo Match Big Show vs Akebono Um, Big Show. Semi-Main Events Smackdown!'s Kurt Angle vs Raw's Shawn Michaels I will pick Shawn Michaels. Smackdown's Undertaker vs Raw's Randy Orton. I will pick the undertaker. Now if the undertaker loses to sorry ass punk, I will be pissed. Raw Main Event Batista vs HHH I will pick HHH to go over. Smackdown Main Event John Cena vs JBL I will be John Cena. I think this match should be last, because you want to send them home happy.
John Cena and Batista are new champions. Undertaker beat Orton and Shawn Michaels taps out after like 4 minutes in the ankle lock (gay).
Decent. Seemed like every other regular ass WWE PPV I've ever seen, though Triple H's entrance was ****ing sick. That guy is badass, too bad he lost to mark ass Batista.
omg, that was shocking to me, they acutally pushed 2, count them TWO young wrestlers at the SAME PPV. This is even more surprising than Jericho being the first undisputed champion and Shawn Michaels winning the Elmination Chamber back at Survivor Series in '02. Damn WM22 is going to be at Chicago, I was hoping a return here over at Reliant Stadium.
Yeah, Batista is six months older than Triple H! That six man ladder match was simple unreal...freaking t-bone off the top of the ladder! I think that Shelton Benjamin will be getting pushed into main event status soon with Randy Orton playing the heel...start moving some of the old guys out of there... JBL is a friggin fat ass!! That guy needs an ab cruncher in the worst way...how he became the premier attraction on Smackdown is beyond me...Snitsky needs to go to smackdown and kick his ass...
