I'm no psycho-ologist but I've got to think that a couple leaving pics around where the kids could find them and having correspondence just right there in Outlook on a computer the family uses, they aren't really trying to keep it too secret. I don't know what that means but it would just be too easy to keep a lockbox and use a swinger's forum to communicate. Could just be they are comfortable with who they are and want to be accepted.......or something creepy. Good luck with that Meg.
sorry meggo. It's one thing to know your parents have an open marriage... but another thing to know exactly what they do when they get there. Especially if they're things everybody doesn't do. Gross.
I don't know what it is you do Brother but it you do seem to start the best 'stream of the collective consciousness' threads, maybe they are Friday-centric.
Umm, I dunno. Parents can be pretty foolish when it comes to computers. I'd clalk it up to naivety before I go all Oedipus on the situation. Technology has this wonderful way of making our lives easier without us fully understanding the implications of the shortcuts it offers.
You are crazy!!! This movie had us in stitches! I still remember every one of my friends "being" like one of the characters. We'd get together with other friends and they'd be like "heeyy! You're right! That is like so and so". It was an awesome movie that you didn't get enough credit to. BTW, I was supposed to be the guy that loses the hockey video game and later on he pulls a gun on someone (though I've never held a pistol in my life) His temperment was similar to mine. Go watch it again!
Back to the topic, I've never swung. I have had a couple of girls that said they were willing to go with me as a "faux" couple, but its never panned out. But, hey! I'm still young.
I recently realized this whole swingers thing is definitely not as uncommon as I thought. I don't think I would do it, but let's just say people are very "friendly" these days.
Trying to answer what type of swing is very difficult without more information. What is your budget, how much room do you have, how level is the ground where you want to swing, how manypeople are likley to get on at one time, if there is a home owner's association involved, do they have any rules, etc., etc. Oh, and did I mention, what is your budget? You can swing for a couple of hundred dollars. You can buy "ready to assemble" wood sets for several hundred to around $1500. Sams Club also has the "Pathfinder" swinger that sells for a $1000. I have not yet seen the set that BJ's will be offering this year. You can buy "kits" at home centers that vary from the very basic to the very elaborate. These tend to be very solid swings and have always been great values. Total cost can vary significantly by the fluctuating cost of lumber. You can also go to a swing showroom like Rainbow, Swing & Toy Warehouse, or All Wood Swing Company. Most of what they offer are top of the line swings that start over $2000 and can cost ten times that amount. They also normally include delivery and assembly. As far as swinging from a deck. Assuming that the structure is solid, I would have no concerns hanging one there. But not two. Anything more would be a safety hazard in my opinion.
i'm trying to imagine how many weeks it would take me to regain consciousness if i EVER read something like that about my mom. and if my parents do have something like that on the computer, it damn well better be buried like 19 folders deep in the most obscure place ever. and i, err...i mean my friend, says he agrees with Falcon's Talon on the internet p*rn thing. though i, i mean he, will say one time recently all the videos on his computer didn't seem that interesting for a brief period. almost desensitized. but he...i mean me...i mean he, bounced back. i am mr. smith anyone know that reference?
