I don't blame Moon for any of those debacles. Check his stats for those games.....they were not bad. When I think of those playoff losses.....I recall, Haywood Jefferies dropping a touchdown pass, Ray Childress (who was supposed to be all-world) nutting up for the entire game and getting pulled off the field during the game winning touchdown, and perennial All-Pro Bruce Matthews suddenly forgetting how to snap a ball to the quaterback. There is no excuse for the Buffalo game, but usually 35 points is enough to win in the playoffs (blame the D). I won't even go into the pass interference on the last interception or the illegial touchdowns made by Bills players.

I don't know where to rank Warren. i don't think he's the greatest, but who knows how many rings he would have won if he actually had some real talent around him. Do I think Moon on a team with Jerry Rice and Roger Craig would have won? How many rings did Montana get outside of San Fran? If you think Moon is a nut-up, then what is Elway. He had great teams and the Three Musketeers (I think that was the nickname), yet he lost 4 Super Bowls (badly) until T.Davis came in and saved his ass. Marino usually had more talent than Moon too, yet he's only been to one Super Bowl (a loss). Aikman had Irvin and Emmitt, not to mention loads of other talent that free-agency took away from him. What has he done since his main guys lost it? Bradshaw had Swann and arguably the greatest D ever. Young also had Rice, R.Watters, D. Sanders, etc. Dan Fouts played with two Hall of Fame WR's (correct me if I'm wrong), but he never won a big one either.

The bottom line is that I could easily see Moon doing what those other quaterbacks did with the help that they had. However, I don't know if those other QB's could make a childish offense like the Run & Shoot work miracles, or make players like H. Jefferies and Ernest Givens look like superstars. By the way, what did either of those two, or any reveiver or back that played with Moon do after he, or they were gone?

Also consider the fact that Moon is right up there with Elway, Marino numbers wise even though his NFL career started much later. Amazing.......

Marino with the best arm ever ? I'm not sure. I think it's pretty much a fact that Elway had the STRONGEST arm, maybe not the best. What I find is interesting is that most NFL players have said (according to Merrill Hoge) that Elway would be the guy they pick to lead their team.

Pretty good list. I have to disagree with a couple. I'm not sure Montana had the most heart, that is very tough to measure. I also think Elway was abetter scrambler than McNair. I think McNabb is actually better than McNair.
Also, when has Marino ever been on the run ? The guy was a statue, lol.
