    Did I not just see the most bought 2 minutes of refereeing in World Cup qualifying history? A bad offsides call against the US at one end, a bad non-offsides call at the other, and a non-call of a flagrant handball inside the six-yard box?

    Thank God for Ralston. I guess even the bought referees have a limit to how much they can do to throw the game.

    i tip my hats off to usa, they contained ruiz and pessarossi really well. ruiz wasnt getting any calls that he wanted, but i guess thats good for usa

    You mean he wasn't rewarded for flopping around like a fish out of water?

    We looked really strong tonight. Donovan was the best I'd seen him in a while, maybe coming back to the MLS is the right move for him. Lewis and Ralston were great down the flanks. The defense was strong and Keller made a couple of nice saves.

    That was the best I've ever seen Eddie Lewis play. I just keep thinking that Eddie Johnson just turns 21 tomorrow. Landon played very well. The defense was fantastic. Couldn't have had a better game out of the US.

    Yeah, he's going to be scary good. As i mentioned earlier, I'd be stunned if he was still in MLS after the January transfer window. Man United have been chasing him for awhile, here's an article about his chances abroad.
