He has NO experience with the system of JVG. Spoon has played with JVG before, even last season. Whether or not Vin can play or not, he WON'T until he gets adequate practice time with the team. It ain't one-on-one around here any mo.

Of the five minutes I've seen him play he looks like his left knee is injured or he is drastically out of shape. He has no lateral movement.

i dont think Vin will see any serious time this season, JVG system is not something you just waltz into at the PF spot. That being said if, and this is a big IF, Vin works himself into good shape again (he came into tremendous shape two seasons ago into Boston) this offseason he may see some time next season because he is physically better gifted than any of the other PFs we have.

unfortunately i missed that game.. however i have watched spoon throw several air balls and then start playing well.. vin was great at one time.. better than all the forwards we have excluding possibly Juwan.. i think it is pretty obvious JVG is not going to play him...

No. I really don't know why. He use to be so good. What the hell happened to him? Confidence? Age? Alcoholism? It's just baffling.

    He had no choice.

Guard play would be easier to adapt, I'd think...but I could be wrong.

I would think guard play would be harder. You have to actually run plays/set up people. At PF you just have to set picks and post up. I guess that would be hard too tho. i don't know either. Someone who has actually played before educate me please.

If he could not get playing time with a crappy Knicks team, he certainly will not get time with us.

The man used to smoke us when he played at Seattle. I don't know if he has anything, but logically- JVG would yse him if it helped us. Especially as weak as we are at the 4-

Got to think the guy is done.

Hope we do good with draft pick we saved by not trading Taylor and the 1st pick for P.J. Browne.

    How is Moochie healing up??
