All you have to do is read the poll to see who ESPN likes. "Dee is the man" or "Matt will step it up." Hmmm... I wonder?
No sh*t! I can't stand Tom Tolbert with his negativity and sarcastic humor. Something about that mans voice makes me want to rip his head off!
The fact he flubbed the Rockets-Spurs comeback was the final nail in the coffin. How could he not score major points on that highlight? He's a friggin Rocket broadcaster. That proved he has a long way to go even tho he has a good voice. I think he needs be more like Bill Walton, in the sense that there will be times when you simply don't know what to say, but don't go stiff on us, just throw some absurd piece of analysis out there and then back it up with bull****. We don't care. Just keep talking and stir up some interest.
seemed to me that stephen a smith has had it out for bull from the beggining, never a good thing to say.
This finale show was a freakin' joke...The Judges (especially Stephan A-hole Smith) were riding Dee's joke the entire show...Truly pathetic...Bull will land a job nationally within the month...
How come I've never seen the past Dreamjob winner again? Aren't they supposed to be the next ESPN anchorman for a year? Are they there just for the purpose of the show? Has anyone ever seen Mike Hall and last year's winner(forgot his name) on ESPN again?
Let me reiterate how rigged this show was...Dee Brown was ok, but not hands down the absolute best or better than Bull...IMO, I thought it was even...The judges might as well swallowed they were on Dee's jock so much...Another reason not to watch ESPN...Yet another reason is Stephan A-hole Smith...He's horrible and yet, he's still there...
TOM TOLBERT IS THE WORST MF'er EVER. I would have taken Bull over that clown any day. Heck...I'll take SAS over that guy. How did Tom get a job with ESPN again??? Fockin' terriBull. I hate Tolbert. SASmith can be pretty funny sometimes though. Stu Scott's material is so stale. Plus he sounds like George Bush trying to talk street! Weak. If there is one thing about the NHL lockout we are being denied is--no more BARRY MELROSE! His mullet is Sweet! Vote for Pedro.
I saw him on ESPN news a few times and also on Sportscenter when he did a mini-series on "sports around the world" (or something like that). Other than that i really have not seen much of him. I doubt that Dee Brown gets a ton of air time either. Espn seems to already have a bunch of former NBA players on thier set (Mark jackson, Anthony, and the other white dude).
