Dang... I say sit T-Mac out until the playoffs begin, get him healthy and ready to go. but still, Dang...
Man, I don't think I have felt as sick as I did from hearing that TMac was carried out of the game. Glad to hear that he's gonna be ok and probably won't miss many if any games. I just pictured this team trying to make a run in the playoffs without The Mac and it wasn't a pretty thought.
I just hope McGrady's okay and I hope the injury isn't serious. I don't wanna see him back until he's 100% ... get well soon!
I was driving home from dinner, listening to the game on the radio when it happened and I almost killed my family and friends...That damn lady on her cell phone...... I was looking at the standings earlier today and I noticed that. I was wondering if it has ever happened before. That April 1st game really has me scared now.
It is not a hip pointer - Mac did not fall on his hip. Rather Yao stepped on his foot right when Mac was in motion forcing a quasi hyper extention. He just just turned his hip in an agressive manner. He will be fine sooner rather than later. If this was a playoffs game, he would have come back into the game.
Mcgrady was in the locker room jogging, he is fine.... This game was pointless why risk anything else happening...
I didnt see the game but i thought it was wierd that the box score on my cell phone showed that T-mac had zero points. I figured that had to be wrong and thought nothing of it. Now i get home and see this. Atleast from reading the posts in this thread it seems like he will only miss a game (if that). Good news.
The Chronicle said he is questionable for the Spurs game Sunday. MRI negative. I have a question...I love TMac, but...can a hip "strain" really hurt THAT much? I'm not saying he could/should have played last night (Apparently he wanted to, but the Rockets held him out)...but, by looking at him you would have though he had been shot in the hip last night.
I've heard it's a scary feeling; you're whole leg goes numb and limp. He should be OK; I would bet on him missing Sunday's game as precaution, though. He'll be back for Utah, he's been saving up a little something for cocky a#$ Matt Harpring.
I'd hold him out of Sunday's games for procautionary reasons. Better to have a healthy McGrady, especially with the playoffs coming up.
As much as I want the Rockets to beat the Spurs its probably best to hold him out on Sunday and maybe even monday.
Better let him have a long rest. Look at his #1 playing time in nba. We need him in playoff. We don't care who we play with later as soon as we enter playoff.
