And he single-handedly brought down a somewhat entertaining dunk-competition as well.

Why are the big/lanky white guys always floppy and goofy out there...

Yet still leading by 5 after the first quarter. They should still win this game even without T-Mac.

Speaking of which, if the guy's jogging around in the hallway, it sounds like he should be able to suit up against San Antonio.

Yao has to stay on the court longer today, I hope the rest he got the last few games benefits him today.

I have a feeling T-Mac might not go for some more games in this road trip if the Rox feel that needs to be done as a precaution. IF so, then Yao will have his chance to solely carry the team on his shoulder.

    Go Yao!:)

typed in strained hip and I got this.

    Strained left hip shelves Dalembert
    By TOM MOORE
    phillyBurbs.com
CHICAGO - Samuel Dalembert made the trip with his teammates, but he couldn't play against the Bulls Wednesday night.

A strained left hip that Dalembert suffered when he was fouled on a spin move in the third quarter of Monday night's 109-100 home loss to the Trail Blazers sidelined the Sixers' starting center.

"He could not play under any circumstances," said Sixers coach Jim O'Brien.

Dalembert said he has been unable to work out since getting hurt, but he hopes to be back for today's practice and Friday night's meeting with the Raptors at the Wachovia Center.

O'Brien called Dalembert's status "day to day."

Looking at the game logs, that had to happen Jan 10th at portland and he was able to return Jan 19th at Portland. So if it is a strained hip, we're looking at maybe 7 to 10 days of rest.

note dalembert and mcgrady both have similar body types.

It's possible he could be out a week, but it depends on the severity of the strain. We'll know by tomorrow.

Leave him out VS San Antonio and make sure he is 100%!!!

The Spurs are without Duncan, so the matchup will be Parker & Manu Vs Yao, Sura, James, & Wesley....for all I care, rest T-Mac for a week at the expense of losing a couple of games.

    Yeah that's what I thought.

I'm stuck watching the marathon too, but at least the quality is good.

This team now is a high school team without T-Mac and Yao.

Does that make the Hornets a middle-school team?

smart choice by rockets to keep tmac out tonight. we can win this game without him and the playoffs are what really matter anyway.
