Yeah I heard that too but he needs to look at production for the amount of time that he was on the floor, 12pt 9 reb in 25 mins is great production, he was in foul trouble and Deke stepped up.

Later in the telecast he grouped the Rockets in with San Antonio and Phoenix in a dicussion about powerhouses in the west. And predicted that Houston would beat Seattle in the first round.

When the Rockets win the championship Barkley will explain how Miami or Detroit got shafted by blah, blah, blah.

He will want an asterick put on the championship...

He is a Rocket hater, its too obvious.

I think most people are. The problem is that we may very well end up with another seed.

I love Inside the NBA. They entertain...that is what they should do. They do give some insight and good commentary, but they're not like ESPN acting like they know exactly what is going on with every team and every player.

Some of the stuff they say is just priceless...even Ernie gettin' in on it with the Darius Miles stuff. :D

Chuck sometimes even has trouble even utterring the worlds out, let alone let them flow logically, like Magic always does. Just dont take him too seriously. How can we? He kissed a donkey ass, remember.

actually ernie johnson was telling charles ****** barkley to quit it. Barkley said something bad about the portland team and that he "got no love for the team that fired his boy 'mo cheeks" then ernie was like, jsut quit it. Just stop. I'm sick of this. I'm sick of hearing you [lolololol] THey're 21 and 43. blah blah.." and how the blazers weren't doing well enough to warrant the coaching job for 'mo cheeks.

anyway yeah i waited to see what barkely had to say about the game. Did not say one thing positive about the win or the rockets in general but just took a shot at Yao. Funny he doesn't make any more bets about yao, he just settles for little jabs at him.

    Truer words were never spoken.

Charles has an unfortunate hardon for the Rockets (and especially Yao). As people have stated upthread, you have to take everything Charles says with a grain of salt (or a whole freaking salt lick).

But there is no denying that he is the undisputed Jedi master of the outrageous quip. You just have to sit back and enjoy the brash, witty, self-effacing, brutally honest things that come out of the guy's mouth.

I read that Barkley-quotes page from top to bottom and it had me laughing out loud for half an hour straight. Charles is one of the most hilarious --- and sometimes most insightful --- public figures of our lifetime. He's the Mark Twain/Don Rickles/Ambrose Bierce of the basketball world.

Sure, he smacks the Rockets all the time. That doesn't change the fact that he's perhaps the funniest athlete to ever draw breath.

If the Rockets beat out the Spurs in the West Finals (b/c of Duncan's injury), then Barkley will for sure ask for the asterick...

No he wasn't. He was talking about the stupid head bump thing that Miles does. He said it is rediculous to do that when your team is 21 and 43.

Thanks for the link man ! You made my day.

Here is one worth pointing out:

The only problem I ever had with the Rockets was all those coin flips or lotteries. They must have had two or three rabbit's feet in their pockets all those years. How in the hell do they keep getting all those centers? Moses (Malone), Ralph (Sampson), Hakeem. Now Yao (Ming).
