like the title said, i want a yao ming or t-mac autographed jersey, nike or authentic jerseies only. i need proof, upperdeck proof would be best but other will do also. No it isn't real at all. The attempted McGrady signature is on the far right of the picture and is a poor forgery. The Yao is way off too. The Van Gundy and a rew of the others looked real but the Yao and McGrady signatures are definitely fakes. Yao's signature can be sloppy at times but it is always pretty consistent (McGrady's is the same way)
Mcgradys signature changed somewhat because I have an autographed jersey from Mt zion, Toronto Raptors and Magic all framed and BOUGHT at Field of dreams. His Signature changed over the years so I guess it depends on the year it was signed.
That's accurate to a certain point. He used to sign his full signature "Tracy McGrady" while he was in Toronto. Towards then end there and when he went to orlando the signature went to "TMac" with him sometimes adding his number (depends on the item he's signing". Not trying to offend you at all but there are a number of items I have seen in Field of Dreams that aren't authentic. You can't judge anything based on that.
so what company do you trust to know that the autographs are real? upperdecks is the only one i know off, and i do think all the COAs on Ebay are fake, whats your take?
UDA is good. From what I'e seen so are Steiner and Mounted Memories. I get everything I have myself so I don't know too much about all the companies out there. Anyone can print a COA so it's really nothing but a piece of paper. UDA is really priced high and I'm 99% sure TMAC hasn't done a signing this season.
The rule on buying autographs on ebay is making sure that it is PSA/DNA certified. PSA...who is a grader of sportscards has gotten into the autographing aspect and they guarantee that its legit. That would be my advise for you. Just look up PSA/DNA McGrady and youll find what you are looking for. I hope that helps.
yao' signature on that jersey is definitely fake. I have a Yao's autograph(it's real because I saw him sign it), and it looks nothing like the one on the jersey.
