well, at least he has a chinese heart of champion by single handly brought his home team a CBA title, without this championship you guys won't even have a chance to bash him here in US.

Suround any single rox player with Yao's old teamates and see if he can lead them to a CBA title. (by shooting 22/22 in the final)

Also the Olympic games in Athen. He did once say he felt much less pressure playing for Rockets than for Chinese national team.

I think Yao just needs more confidence to himself here in Rockets. My guess is because he is not the best player in the team, he tends to defer more to his teammates. As for now, I think the most important thing for him is to learn how to avoid those unnecessary fouls. AND staying in Houston during the summer will really help.

I thought Bowen played really well. Similar to the game at Phoenix, he really sparked our 4th quarter run with his hustle.

Nice win but did Barkley or Smith still continue to bash the Rockets like in the past? Any of them eat crow?

I've noticed Sura passing up many shots tonight, instead driving it in for a clogged interior. It's one thing to miss them, but to not even go up for a shot is not a good sign.

He hasn't been the same since his stint on the IL.

But a quality win over one of the best teams in the NBA. Sure Haslem was out, but so was JHo. No excuses here.

I HATE haveing to be at work early I couldnt watch the second half.. THANK GOD FOR TIVO!!

Great win I dont care if we sucked down the strech, we still did better than the hottest team did to win and to me thats all the matters.. I love the day after a big win everything just seems to flow much better without being mad for the rest of the day...

    :D :D :D

Man, T-Mac did more than enough to make up for his offensive woes on the defensive end and with a good scoring 4th quarter, get off him already.

A gritty, gutsy win. A game that demonstrates that the Rockets are going to be a load in a seven game series. The overall Rocket stats were forgettable, but the team refused to lose, even though they gave the Heat some last second opportunities to win.

Surely Mutombo got a game ball, and Weatherspoon should at least be given some recognition. TMac didn't shoot well but compensated with a great all around game. Ming took one of his vacation days (with the exception of some sweet shots and a few rebounds). Actually he played some tough defense at times, but made some "rookie" fouls. James gets props for two "dagger" threes and lumps of coal for FOUR missed freebies in a row and a foul on a three pointer.

The Rockets have played more entertaining games this year than in the last five years combined.

With some smart additions in the offseason, the Rockets are primed for several championship runs. When the offensive game is "cranking," (Suns game) they can beat anybody; when the defense is stingy (Heat game), they can beat anybody. Conclusion, they can beat anybody. And they don't have all the parts yet.

And one last thing, Charles and Kenny can't say one nice thing about the Rockets. If we win it all, I can hear Charles say that we are the luckiest team ever. Why the bitterness, guys?

Man, Deke was HUGE last night. He owned the new age Lakers. The guy was all over the place. Grabbing offensive boards, playing solid D, putbacks, everything. Easily man of the match.

TMac was still taking too many jumpers. The several times he did take it to the hole ended with great results. Why doesn't he do that more? But over all he played well.

Stupid Yao stupidly fouled out again. Mama says, stupid as stupid does. And he chose to play D on Shaq on only 2 quarters. During the 1st and part of the 3rd quarter I was saying great D. But the 2nd quarter he didn't bother showing up.

Spoon, in limited minutes, did great. Yeah I know he bricked his first two shots, but he had 12 points. That's huge coming from a position we didn't expect anything. He also played decent D oh Shaq with Yao's help.

The team was still so off in the first, thank god it's got slightly better in the seconod, cuz it was making them think. I remember in the first we Wes and Sura passed up several open 3's when earlier in the season they'd take it all day long (even on the break) and make it too. I'm glad they got at least a little bit of it back. At least James was hitting some of it.

FTs down the strech, man. We definitely needs to work on that. We handed the game to them on a silver platter. Thank god they handed it right back.

How long is ur memory span? Go back to check the first the two teams played this season and see who had the better numbers.

offensive rebounds and smothering defense won that game last night.

next time, try not to give up 11 points on three offensive possesions for the other team in the waning minutes of a game

( two four point plays and a three point play which Yao fouled out)

lets leave the late game heroics for T-Mac and the Rockets, ok?:)

Yeah nobody could D Shaq, but did he have to pick up those stupid fouls. If he's gonna foul out, at least grab Shaq, make sure he doesn't get the dunk off instead of giving a 3 pt play.

Yao is freakin' 310 lbs, he CAN make it difficult for Shaq. At that situation the last thing you wanted was to give a 3pt play. Give him the dunk if you have to. And if you foul him, don't tap him on the top of the head.

Funny. I have the video of Yao's Top 10 play (not sure if it's for his 1st year only). In one of the play, Shaq fouled Yao almost exactly the same way Yao fouled him last night, only Yao seemed to foul him harder this time. I am not trying to defend anything, just find it funny.:)
