I don't think so, because he was on 610 talking about the upcoming Rockets/Heat contest. I think that is relevant to this. But he did talk mainly about himself and his development, talked about how he still follows UH b-ball team, and said he thinks they are playing very well this season. He praised the Daddy and especially Wade, who is a good friend of his. The hosts told him they wish him well but not against the Rockets tonight.
He's one of the guys the Rockets were going after in the off-season. Jones is a good player and seems to be a solid guy, but I am so happy we got Mike James!
Jones is a solid NBA player and a good character guy in the lockerroom from what I've read. Hope he does well except against us.
The only time I will root against a cougar is if he is playing my rockets. And even then I still hope he puts up a triple double.
djones is a great fit for the heat.. he had a quote earlier this year saying that he'd be one of the 'elite guards' in this league by season's end.. i don't know about that, but he's doing his job really well.. keeps his TO's down, hits threes, handles the ball.. and keeps shaq company (i hear they are best friends down there?) i have him on my fantasy team
