I'm sure at least half of you have played the "petals around the rose" puzzle before. It is a pretty quick but interesting game. If you haven't played before, try it here. For those of who who solved that puzzle, try this game called Checkmate!. I have no idea how to do the second puzzle. I know some people have looked at the source code to form reliable predictions, but if Checkmate! is suppose to be like PATR, there should be an elegant solution. I didn't write the second puzzle and I have no idea whether it is a hoax or an actual puzzle. In other words, don't kill me if you get frustrated.
I've got the PATR down. I understand that one... This one is going to piss me the F off until I get it... just like PATR
for what ever reason i got PATR from the very beginning. I never got it wrong...just go it instantly. this one not so much
"It had taken Dr. Duke well over a year himself, and he would always explain that the smarter you were, the longer it took to figure it out. " Ouch.
I don't buy that. I always have placed in the 99th percentile on abstract reasoning tests. I figured PATR out in about 15 minutes. I'll see what I can do on the second one.
PATR sucks ass...took me 15 minutes of guessing patterns. "the ones in common multiply by two and then subtract the rest"..."nope." damn... "the ones not in common add up and then only subtract the ones in common"...nope..."damn" then i looked at the title and felt stupid.
