The Rockets are shooting that badly. Plus they've stopped defending. Plus they're not concentrating at the foul line.

I just hope this is a mini-slump(i.e. no more than a couple of games), cuz at least earlier in the season when the team looked like they couldn't buy a basket on most nights, they still brought their A-game on the defensive end and were consistently knocking down free throws.

We forget how to defense, which we knew well just a week ago.

Why not put Yao back? Did JVG already give up?

Excelletn point! You just hit the nail on its head. Playing defense DIRECTLY reflects your intensity level, and it sets the tone, the last two games, look at our defense. Truly shameful:eek:

Boy will we be shredded by the Heat, it will be bad to see:( (I said that BEFORE our little slump here, now it is almost even more assured)

Well atleast the Rox haven't given up completely. Down 14 with over 8 minutes to go is not insurmountable.

Gotta love Ryan Bowen. Just instant effort off the bench in a game where effort has been missing throughout the team.

We've played horribly, but you have to give credit to the T-Wolves for exploiting our lack of a PF. So far, they've shown that they wanted it much more tonight.

He's probably going with a perimeter-oriented attack to try and make this game more respectable. The Rockets aren't coming back from 14 down, but at least if they can play a little bit better down the stretch in the 4th quarter, they can carry that momentum into the Miami game(and Lord knows they're gonna need it against that team).

His shot selection is horrible tonight. He needs to scrap the fadaway jumpers and attack the basket.

down 14 with over 8 minutes left... if they can cut it to 10 soon, its a brand new ballgame. we've got some sort of mental block going on right now with the shooting. MJ and McGrady should keep attacking the basket.

    Only down 14 points!

    Similar to Celtics game..
I hope we can come back..8 minutes left. :/

Yeah our defense..not that tough and great..I think our guys need to have a practice or something..maybe teams are playing us better. We need to do something!

    BEAT THE HEAT! :)

They lost by nine. I guess if that is competitive, well... we're still playing like crap.

Hey call me annoying all you want, that's besides the point. It's annoying how I post something on here and no one bother's to post their analysis on the subject.

But I appreciate your input nonetheless. It just baffles me how this team can fluctuate as much as they do. During the roadtrip I thought they were unbeatable...but I guess that's asking too much......

The score is a bit deceiving, it was very close until the Spurs started int. fouling in the last minute.
