Second thread in as many days but UCONN ties it with 15 seconds to go, Hodge gets an AND 1 with 4.3 seconds... shooting free throw now.. edit: makes free throw, 4.3 seconds left for UCONN to hit a 3 NC State wins it!
UConn got jobbed... 1. the refs don't call the obvious offensive foul which gives NC State the wide open three. 2. Rudy Gay gets tripped by the screener which allows Hodge to get to the hoop.
The fact that almost EVERYBODY can make that statement means that you've actually got a shot. Nobody is going to win any pools with a really accurate bracket... hell, it may all come down to who picked more teams right in the FIRST round.
I still have all four of my Final Four teams alive, so I'm looking pretty good in all of my brackets...
I listened to the actual UCONN radio guys the whole game and they didn't have some of the beef you have against the refs.
It's true. My bracket took a massive beating yesterday, and I was thinking this was my worst year ever in NCAA pools. then the standings came out in one pool I'm in, and I'm tied for second -- mostly on the strength of a pretty good first round. If Miss St upsets Duke later today, brackets across the country are really going to be shot...
