Methinks Bogut is overrated. No matter how smart he is and how well he puts the ball on the floor, he is way too slow-footed to be a franchise player in the NBA. His shooting range is exaggerated as well. A decent post-defender in the NBA should be able to shut him down easily.

At the absolute best, he's Brad Miller.

So at best he is an NBA All Star...for shame:confused:

He is not a franchise player but he is at the least Elton Brand level. Also, I post player that has shown college 3pt range will expand that range in the NBA.

That's his ceiling. In all likelihood, he'll be better than lottery big-man busts like Olowakandi and Darko... but I think teams will ultimately be embarassed if they take him over Splitter or Paul.

Elton Brand had athleticism to succeed in the NBA despite lacking size. Does Bogut have the physical tools to be that good? He's slow and can't jump 2" off the ground.

Tiago Splitter (foreign big man) and Chris Paul (Wake Forest pg).

And Darko is not a bust yet. He's still YOUNGER than Bogut.

My bet is that he will always remain younger than Bogut..

Yeah, I noticed I did that, but I don't have edit power.

The point was he is younger than most of the guys in this year's draft. It's still a couple years before the player Darko will be is known.
