I counted 6 (attempted) touches on the 1st quarter. 7 or 8 on the 2nd quarter from the video provided. Could someone give an estimation on the average touch/shoot ratio in NBA? I not talking about MoT's ratio. Average ratio? It seems about 4 of the (attempt) touches becames field goal attempts, and 1 assist in the first quarter. Did he maximized his touches? According to the stat sheet against the Celtics, he is 5/7 FG and 8/12 FT (of course some are AND1). Looks like a little bit above average shooting attempt game for Yao. Was he abnormal aggressive on this game or did his teammate go to him more because every body else were in a shooting slump? He did almost faul out all of Boston's front lineup. I guess he's quite aggressive this game. 1 TO counted on him. Actually, his TO dropped sharply lately. Average almost 1 per game in the last 5 games. Perimeter shooters normally get very few FTs, therefore their FGA are all they got. For post players, the total FGA need to consider FT minus AND1's. Video of all of the occasion that Yao is openning but is ignored can also prove if he got enough touches he deserved. Jon Barry is still money!

I really don't see that much of YOF vs Senior members anymore. There are a few persistent hardcore YOFs (FA799) who are always starting the same old fights with the same people (SamFisher) about the same old things (Yao's touches). Other than that, everyone else who complains about yao's touches do it probably because we get tired of watching jumpshoits all the time. Can't blame us, most of us saw the Rox win 2 titles dumping it off to the big man
