ahh very nice, a 14 v 3 upset and i had kansas losing in the second round anyway so it's not even that painful (i knew kansas was struggling but i figured they could handle a 14 seed). and just like the announcer mentioned, i was thinking laettner as simian went up with that shot. long pass, turnaround jumper at the top of the key down 1. too bad. that bucknell guy almost pulled a kenton paulino and blew the whole thing for his team there at the end. doesn't just drop the pass, but drops it between his legs right to ku so set off a fastbreak then does the unforgivable and commits the intentional foul that leads to a 4 point possession. luckily the big guy threw in that ugly hook shot. i would say i've only lost one sweet 16 team so far but i've forgotten some of my picks so i'm sure it's worse than that.
This is very true. 27-5 first round on my bracket my underdog predictions I was right on : nevada, UAB, NC st, miss st, vermont my losses: kansas, bama, creighton (this one made me especially angry), minnesota and pitt none of my lossess are supposed to move on into the sweet 16, so Im sittin pretty.
That would be nice, my dad went to graduate school at Iowa State so we're rooting for them. They beat Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas so it's a possibility.
