i don't see any of the pistons complaining about everyone on thier team being a role player.

Did anyone ask that? I think that Yao would burst into tears if he were fed the ball once every 5 or 6 possessions. He is not the greedy type and is passive anyway, and won't complain when was taken advantage of.

I don't think its about being a YOF--its just stupid basketball to rely on the perimeter game when you have a center of Yao's ability patrolling the paint. We're lucky the shots are falling tonight because we are not playing inside- out basketball...

Honestly I don't think he cares if he gets the ball that much or not. He just wants the team to win.

Not that I'm a YOF, but I don't want to see the team get into a habit of passing up the best shot for the second best. There were 3 times at the start of the game where I believe that happened.
The game has been good, people are making shots, especially Wesley.
My main concern is that I don't want Yao to take a backseat because of hot shooting. If he scores little, so be it. But I fear his aggressiveness will dwindle if he isn't a part of the offense.

I totally agree with you ! Just like thePortland commentator says: "I don't know how we can beat this Houston team. If you slow the game down, they are third in field goal defense, if you speed it up then can score 127 on you like they did against the Suns. They are the hottest team, I just hope there is a leak in the roof today" :D

they won the championship last year by using team play. i don't think anyone averaged more that 15ppg.

if we had a team like that, that also included yao, i don't think he would mind being considered a role player with everyone else.

As long as we socre, I dont care who scores for us. If the premiter game is working, just go for it. We can pound it inside, we all know that.

    wow, wesley 6-6,
    sura 4-5

great, so when our guard can shot like this, yao no need to take too much shot and also means our guards are open.
great. but you know what, I'm a YOF.:D

Then you should, maybe you would then understand what team basketball is all about. Yao is the unquestioned second-option on this team, everyone knows it.

I think that Mr. Greedy knows it perfectly that the only chance that the Rockets win a title is that *** develops into a dominant player (of course, we can win if Duncan, Shaq et al are all out for the season), and he knows by giving Yao 2 shots a half is not gonna cut it. But it's human nature, and Yao is not even Chris Webber who would have complained loud about not getting the ball and PT.

Are you done yet? Why you are so eager to lable others as YOF? I have been seeing this kind of comments from you all the time. It begins to make me sick now. No one wants Yao to get more touches just only for the purpose of Yao getting more touches. We want him to get more touches to make the rockets a better team.
