I don't see the problem here. They're saying
    1) Shaq is on fire because he's determined to prove his doubters wrong, and
    2) Yao is soft.

Sounds like a good combo to me.

ridiculous. The media seem to think that "scoring a lot of points" = "is too selfish". It's not too difficult to look at T-Mac's assists and see that he's doing a fantastic job of dishing the ball as well.

There may come a day in my lifetime when the Rockets will win another championship. And that will be a happy day.

But an equally happy day, yet more distant, would be the day that the Rockets get respect.

yeah, how many other teams have all their starters in double figures? and how many times has tmac passed to someone else in waning moments of the fourth quarter? Padge wouldn't have a cult following if tmac was selfish.

exactly why i hope someone in the rockets organization is taping/clipping all these things said about the rockets in the media to fuel them to shut everyone up. the way bayless said selfish made it clear to me that the man has yet to see the rockets play and looks at box scores he probably saw the horrible game tracy had last night against gsw and was like 9-29 same ol "me-mac"

seriously if it wasnt for pti and the reruns of the nba fantastic series on espn i wouldnt even watch that channel anymore

i can get scores off the internet and highlights from r2k

I don't get it..."Cold Pizza" sucked and got cancelled so they changed the name of it and put it on in the afternoon?

The Heat deserve their credit...but both of these guys are morons. Bayless had an article on espn.com page 2 a while back about how the Moss trade was the steal of the century. Moss is a great receiver...he's not taking the Raiders to the Super Bowl by himself, though. That's what ESPN does...they blow things out of proportion, and oversimplify and make generalizations. And they get their facts from reading sports columnists around the country...not by watching the games. Too bad they're the only sports channel around. Well, there is Fox Sports. Haha, Fox. (I do like Fox's local coverage though).

It's better this way though. Let them bring down the Rockets...it'll be fun watching them eat their words in the end.

skip bayless is the biggest jackass loser in sports and paige isn't all that far behind him. they say things just to be heard and stir it up. in other words they can know absolutely nothing about something ramble on about it and just play it off as being controverisal. i'd take whatever they say with the same monster grain of salt as charles barkley and stepen a. smith.

From what us Rockets fans have seen from McGrady this year......would ANY of us suggest he is selfish?

He had that reputation when he got here, but I have to say every time he takes the floor in a Rockets jersey....Im over the moon! I think he is the best player in the NBA right now, he can score at will, he can make the impossible look easy, he can rebound and get team mates involved....

If this is selfish.....give me more of the same! :D

I saw this yesterday and I thought it was a just an overload of stupidity on both sides.

It just proves that neither of them watch the games, they didn't see "soft" Yao dunk on Amare last Friday or swat every other shot he put up.

    T-mac selfish? Please!!!
