They're replaying the Sura interview...AGAIN...with the same old information.

Can't they get CD on the line at least?

If Juwan can come back for the playoff, his injury will actually be a blessing in disguise for this team because it will really warm up our PF bench players for the playoff, and Vin might really surprise us.

Too bad this happened while we are about to play 4 games a week instead of the 2-3 games a week schedule we've had recently.

I hope he can heal up quicker since it usually takes an additional 2-3 games or so to get back into the flow of the game.

Juwan Howard Out at Least Four Weeks with Knee Injury
03.15.05-Houston Rockets forward Juwan Howard will miss a minimum of four weeks with a second degree sprain of the medial collateral ligament in his right knee, General Manager Carroll Dawson announced today. Howard, who suffered the injury in last night’s win at Golden State, was examined earlier today by Dr. Hussein Elkousy of Texas Orthopedic Hospital

    Look,

I know you guys are in the panic mode, but I think we'll be fine.
We have a bunch of overpaid PFs in the beginning.
And we still have a bunch of overpaid PFs now. Mo Taylor was the worst of the overpaid. Juwan is the most overpaid of all time. Clearance Weatherpoon is overpaid and Vin Baker is a has been.

Now its up to the rest of the overpaid bunch to get rebounds and hit open jumpers. Lets see how well they do before we press the panic button.

Oh, BOBBY SURA is the 3rd MOST IMPORTANT ROCKET NOT JUWAN.
    He's the X Factor.

Juwan, hurt for four weeks. Mo Taylor not even starting for the Knicks. And Chris Webber...
PHILY GOT THE WORST OF THE DEAL. Kenny Thomas is better than Webber. Ah the Michigan Fowards!

Juwan will get better, Jeff Van Gundy knows what he's doing, so I'm not worried.

Whew. I was thinking he'd be out for the year. There's a big difference between done for the season, and out for at least Four Weeks. At least now he has a chance to come back and contribute.

Or... either Padgett, Spoon or Baker gets some playing time to shake off the rust. Then Juwon comes back, and having settled the issue of who our #1 backup PF is will come in handy during the playoffs.

Just trying to look on the bright side.

Four weeks brings Juwon back just in time for our final homestand. 15 games, 8 of them against winning clubs. I don't think the injury will cost us much, maybe a win or two.

That's too bad, though at least it is not for the year.

I hope Vin Baker is able to find some of his old glory.

Baker should get some tips from Ron Burgundy.

    Stay classy, world.

I've got tix to the April 16th home game vs Denver. This might be the earliest olaJuwan Howard is able to come off the injured list. Let's go!

The key to the next 4 weeks is to stay ahead of Sacaremento and Memphis. Don't want to fall to 7th and face either Phoenix or San Antonio in the first round.
