Wow close game. I hope Howard's okay. Wesley nice finish at the end.

Wesley played against BD..his former teammate for a long time.

I'm so glad we got Wesley. I remember some negatives about him..shot selection poor field goal % shooting. Maybe he had some bad habits because organization..a bunc hof injuries and stuff..and he had to shoot more..but wow he..along with all of the other Rockets..look great as Rockets. :)

ANd ..I don't remember thinking much when we got Mutombo..just that he's tall and he blocekd shots and that he elbowed Yao..and went to Georgetown right? And he was on Knicks and 76ers finals team and Bulls and a bunch of other teams..but he didn't want to play on the Bulls. I'm really glad we got him. I never thought that we would get him before we did get him. Congrats to him #3 all time in blocks behind Hakeem and Kareem! Pretty impressive

The really cool thing about this new version of the Rockets is that it seems like some of the older, been-with-a-dozen-teams guys (Deke, Barry, Wesley, Juwon) are starting to smell championship possibilities. Some of those guys have never been in this position before and know they don't have many years left, so they're not looking at this as a year to get sent home in the 1st or 2nd round.

They may be old, but they're old and hungry.

well, i just remember when we got deke we were complaining about how old he was...blah blah, we didnt think too much and probably didnt expect much. he has been doing awesome! i know i thought the david wesley trade was the dumbest trade alive, but maybe that is why im not a gm. wesley and deke have been fitting very well as rockets!

Just please, please, please Deke...pass the freaking ball when you get an O rebound. Or bring it up strong immediately for the dunk. Your pump fake is pure excrement.

Wesley is the only player I've seen JVG highly praised for for defensive skills. Haven't seen JVG heap up that much praise on any other Rockets player before.

JVG wanted Wesley so bad he traded Jim Jackson-- the guy who developed the nickname "Coach's Pet" last season.
