Compass bank officially rules! not only do they pay me back for all the atms....... But I just got a $30 cashiers check from them because Washington Mutual charged me the $30 after there was some confusion on a check I wrote. That really made my day. By the way....WAMU continues to suck more and more until they bring back a branch to College Station.
I love Compass Bank too! Only problem I have with them is that I need to setup a bank account with someone else, as Compass doesn't exist in Pittsburgh . . .
That's the whole reason I started an account with Compass. WAMU was here in a Kroger but they pulled out and left me out to dry. I needed to find a new bank.
Are you saying they pay you back even if you use an ATM that is not theirs? If so, that's awesome because when I have gotten into a jam and not been able to find a Regions bank ATM anywhere around and need some quick cash it can cost several dollars after each bank charges for their fees.
If a bank charges you (any banks ATM) Compass will pay you back.. I just got $14.50 deposited into my account a week ago by Compass bank for the fees from Using Wells Fargo's ATM at the bars. They should be paying me for this! Oh wait, the did. (30 bucks) .

Hey Uprising, how do they pay you back? I remember when I signed up for my checking account they were supposed to do that, but when I look on my statement it doesn't seem as if they do it, all my ATM withdrawals are like $21.50 rather than just $20... like how would they know what's actually an ATM fee, just assume whatever isn't a demonitation of $20? I guess I should just ask them about it lol...
