I don't think this has been posted yet. It looks like a pretty good analysis of how things are going for us at the moment.

3. Item: After breezing through this week with wins over the Mavericks, Sonics, Suns and Kings, the Houston Rockets now look very much the part of the sleeper in the Western Conference heading down the stretch.

What this really means: Tracy McGrady and Yao Ming are gaining a better feel for each other every day, and they are as difficult to cope with as any duo in the Western Conference heading into the playoffs. People can denigrate Yao all they want, but he's averaging 18.5 points, 8.4 rebounds and a shade less than two blocks. More importantly, he has a terrific feel for the game and is an excellent passer, which McGrady is taking to his full advantage.

They're not going to win the West, and four games is probably too much for them to overtake the Dallas Mavericks for the fourth seed, but they've caught the Kings in the loss column in the battle for the fifth seed and figure to blow right by them. Coach Jeff Van Gundy now has a complete feel for this team — unlike last season — and it makes them more dangerous every day. And consider the veterans that Van Gundy and Carroll Dawson have put around their two stars — eight of 10 teammates have played on at least five teams.

nice to see the rockets get some respect!

but is it just me or does it seem half of these pieces are written from other articles? most stories during any given week say roughly the same things- the ones that offer any real insight stick way out. i get the feeling alot of what we read is based on highlights and ap reports. sad.

but anyway, YEA! respect!
