    I think Shaq would choose to retire at the moment he found out that he is no longer the star player of his team.

    I agree. Its very likely to be his plan. But if he found for whatever reason, whether physical or mental, that he wasnt ready to retire, I think that this is what he would do.

    Well, Jeff Van Gundy does like to bring in the dinosaur veterans. Why not a dinosaur Shaq? That is, if Van Gundy is still the Rockets coach in 4 years.

    What, are you kidding? Great posts are sweet, but some of the most entertaining discussions on these boards are sparked by stupid, immature, shallow posts. It's like a sense of humor to go along with intellect; one without the other blows, but combined, they rock.

    Guys, I had a dream last night too. I dreamt that Hakeem found the fountain of youth and the Rox resigned him. He then passed his secret to Russel and also re-energized. Then Wilt suddenly reappeared and everybody was like, Wow! Since we already had Shaq and Yao, we dominated with a 5 all-NBA center line-up.

    The only crazy part was that Deke still never aged and continued to be our 6th man.
