We have the best in-division record in the Southwest division (8-4): 2-1 against Spurs 2-2 against Dallas 2-1 against Memphis 2-0 against NO We have 4 games left against opponents in our division. 1 game against Spurs on the road 1 game at home against Mephis 2 games against NO We should win at least 2 of them (NO), likely 3 (at home against Memphis). It's not out of question that we pull out a win on the road against the Spurs. We hung tough with them for 3 1/2 quarters. If Bobby had played, we might have pulled out a win against them. Anyway, 11-5 against opponents in the toughest division in the league is really a great achievement, to say the least.
Good to point that out...I guess it's the wrong time to mention we're 0-2 against the Bobcats. just kidding, go Rox!
that ws then, this is now I feel very confident in saying that if we faced the Cats now...we would wipe the floor with them. also....for another neat stat...check who has the best winning percentages in the league since Jan 31....before last nights game, we were tied with PHO for the 3rd best winning percentage in the league at .733 Just imagine where we would be at if we hadnt started 6-11 and had these guys from the beginning...scary stuff.............for everyone else..
we're more under the radar now, and might peak in the playoffs (instead of mid-season had we started from the beginning) i think it's more exciting this way anyways!
In the roughest division in the NBA, we have the best record against them...thats great to know...I think its just a matter of time before this team becomes dominant, all we need is chemistry...we have height, shooting, defense and penetration...all we're missing now is experience and chemistry and we'll definitely be a force to be reckoned with...
Our intradivisional record is amazing! When was the last time we beat Dallas 2 times and SA 2 times in the same season? Going into this season I certainly didnt expect us to have as good a division record this year considering the competition. Very impressive!
