Yeah I agree. We're beating teams. Dallas and San Antonio. We would never have beaten them last year. Have we beat the Kings yet? Because we are going to anyways.. Now Pistons and Heat..we'll beat them eventually. But I really think Marion makes a difference. We usually have a lot of trouble with him. He's quick and he can shoot and penetrate and rebound and play defense..I don't know if he affects Yao or not. So good thing he didn't play. Rockets are for real.
Well aside from the Utah game, which I consider a hiccup, the Rox haven't lost to a below-500 team in two months. With Sura back, and James coming off the bench, I'm not worried about anybody. This team is turning into something special.
Well if we beat the Kings i think we should go 4-0. As long as they come out with some intensity they should win that game. Only thing that does worry me is that it will be our 3td game in 4 nights and after going up and down with the Suns and Kings they might be a bit tired.
It's kinda of a bummer that we didn't get much out of this win than what was possible. Memphis, Sac and Minny all won today. Lakers didn't play. It would have been nice to move away (or closer) from these teams with this win particularly against such a tough opponent. I guess this win was pretty definitive. The other two games against Dallas (with no Dirk) and Seattle (who loss tonight against the Bulls didn't prove as much than this one I guess.
that one dude looks like vin baker. i want to give props to baker tonight he was really in the game and i think he may of jumped an inch off the ground to give someobody a chest bump. his energy was good.
Right. If we beat Sac-town we will play G.S. the very next day, coming off another high in which would be on national TV and playing a Warrior team who has played pretty well since acquiring Baron Davis. The Warriors certainly have the talent and we could be in for a let down. Of course, this is all predicated on if they beat the Kings which I have confidence they will. The G'S' is just one a worry about more, I guess.
the reaction from the suns board is funny. those fans will always hate us (i dont blame them ) - considering stoudemire's jealousy of yao, he couldnt play for a more appropriate team. i think it embarrasses the guy that he can only score when yao's nowhere near him. btw, i would LOVE to know the point differential w/yao in the game- it had to be huge. and props to the big guy for playing like one- w/the behind the back pass from on his ass even! did anyone catch the espn stat- first time in 9 years a team wins by 20 that was down going into the fourth. crazy.
Some more Suns fans comments on another board: "what the f*** so big deal about 27/22/5? is he suppose to be this way." "with his size 7.6, who needs any effort for rebound and put the damn ball in the basket. All you have to do is put your hands up to greb and dunk the god damn ball. on the other hand, much shorter players need to move and jump." Geeze ... they are soooooo bitter now.
thats one hell of a stat. especially against a team as good as the suns have been at home. and to think that a JVG coached team could be capable of such an offensive explosion. nice sanctuary around here without the jvg haters around lying in the weeds ready to spew that whatever you call it that came out of their minds. i'd rather be in a trench with one YOF going up against a galaxy of hostile aliens than be in a trench with a thousand jvg haters against the same amount of hostile aliens.
look - what else can he say ?? its not like anyone would actually offer the Suns Yao or Lebron for Amare - he is just getting his teams' back
glad we got da W. i want nba fastbreak, tnt crew, sportscenter, any network you can name it, kiss our behinds. muuahh
Actually I'm glad Sacramento won. The Rox would be well suited to stay in the 6th spot to play Seattle (which are starting tocome back to earth). The Rox don't match up nearly as well vs Dallas.
watching the replay... holy *&*& did anybody see that behind the back pass by barry through a crowd to mutumbo. that was tiiight.
mwuahhaha Look at this post from the Suns Fans board. They pay the ultimate price for their lurking at Clutchfans Dustbuster Posted: Mar 11, 2005 - 09:24 PM -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Whoooaaahhh. Where did the Suns go? Who is this pathetic bunch that doesn't even seem to be trying? Where is Steve Nash's shot? Horrible. About midway through the third quarter the rebounding disparity was only 3. It is currently 18! It wouldn't be such a big deal if we hadn't read all the homeristic statements that are now coming true. Ouch!
We haven't won @ ARCO probably for the past 3 or so years, maybe longer... Hope we break the losing streak come Sunday
so did we give too much for tmac? but in all seriousness great great win. but im somewhat concerned about sunday. hope we dont start trailing early that game. though lately we've been able to come back.
vunny, you know, i know, she knows, he knows, they know, its a clean slate with this team. This Houston Rocket team doesnt give a damn about history. They're kicking ass and not taking names but sending them sympathy cards cause they embarrass them in front of their fans so bad. Poor sac town fans, oh well.
