He seems to want to get a rise out of Rocket Fans mostly.. Or is there other playoff contenders he likes to constantly mock?

CB is an idiot. The guy had pure force and energy when played, but in terms of basketball IQ urrr. Houston might have matchup problems with Suns, that's not because Houston is soft. Ask Spurs, Sonics, who would they rather face come playoff team.

Charles has been dead on with his criticism of Houston. Up until now, we have sucked. The whole Francis/Mobley 3 ring circus didn't make too good an impression on the rest of the league. I like Charles because he's not afraid to speak his mind. The whole Ginobili schtick has gotten old, but Charles for the most part is a breath of fresh air amongst peers that have stunk it up, for the most part.

However, I don't know what his grudge against Houston is because on this take, he couldn't be farther from the truth. If you know my posting history, you know I'm anything but a homer. This is far and away the best Rockets team since '97. This team can beat any team in the league on any given night. Believe it or not, they are contenders. Soft? You're praising Dallas while calling us soft? Aside from SA, I'de take my chances against anyone. We're that well-coached and our best player is that good.

chuck is 50% right. we are soft. that doesn't mean we are not talented. he thinks that tough = talent. thats where he is wrong.

we might not throw anyone around. we may not have a thug on our team that is there just to pick up fouls and piss people off, but we have TALENT. and talent + chemistry will win.

i believe that in order to become a dominant team we need a "tough PF." however, i think we can still beat just about anyone in the playoffs this year.

I doubt it. I love Charles and all, but he does hold a grudge against his former teams. Has he ever said anything good about the Rockets or the Phoenix Suns, ever? Barkley deserved a ring in his career and he never got it. It hurts him a lot more than he lets on.

Are you kidding? All Barkley ever says is against the Rox and Ming. He thinks the world of Shaq, Duncan, KG, but takes shots at the Rox every chance he gets. I'm glad he played here and he can be funny as hell, but to think he likes Houston is naive.

I respect Mr. Barkley for signing for the league min. so we could sign Pippen. I hate Pippen now, but at the time it was important. He did us a favor. He was always respectful of Hakeem.

He came to training camp overweight by 30 lb two times.

The man is a buffoon- an ass clown.

I do not care what he says...This is purely for entertainment....

Although - he is dead on with analysis some times when he is not kissing Manu's backside.....

Charles can say whatever he want, but to call Houston soft in comparison to even softer Dallas, Memphis, and Seattle is just wrong basketball-wise. I'm more entertained by actual insight than a bunch of clowning around. Stephen A. Smith, Terry Bradshaw, Chuckus, and way too many of the others add nothing.

    PLEASSSSSSSSSSSSSEE!

Charles is a freakin' loser! He is just bitter because he hated the Rockets all his life, we stopped him in the playoffs on our way to win those rings. He was b****ing and creating locker room problems and stirring up stuff when he was playing with Dream and Drexler, or did all of you conveniently forget that?

The guy is a bitter loser! He is just pissed at the Rockets, has hated them, and always will.

We are soft? Are you freakin' kidding me? Compared to whom? We have a tough-ass D (soft teams don't play good D), we have seasoned veterans, we have Bob Sura (that alone should make you not soft), we have Mt. Mutombo, we have Wesley, we have T-Mac playing through injuries all year, etc.

How the hell are we soft? Now lets compare it to the top teams in the West. Are we softer than Ray Allen and the Sonics? Are we softer than no-D Pheonix? Are we softer than the Nuggets? Are we softer than Dallas? Aren't we about at par on toughness with the Spurs? (Go back and watch our first 2 games against SA and you will see if we are soft or not!)

Rediculous! Oh, and BTW, Chuksta loves the Suns, he says almost nothing but good things about them, so I don't know about where that "Charles hates Suns" thing is coming from

It's funny now because, during the late night show after both games, they were talking about the playoff teams in the West and, of course, going on and on and on and on about how great the Spurs are. Charles said that all the other teams, besides the Spurs, are offensive-minded teams and then Kenny said that the Lakers were sitting in sixth before Kobe got hurt and MEMPHIS made their run.

Uh, the last time I checked, the Rockets were coached by a defensive-minded coach which just held a top 3 offensive team to 6 points in a quarter, and WE are sitting in sixth right now, not Memphis.

Kenny said how great the Spurs are for holding their opponents to 88 pts./game in the West considering how good of offensive teams there are in the conference and, again, stated that they are the ONLY defensive-minded team. All this while the Rockets are holding their opponents to 91 pts./game and 88.5 pts./game this month.

I was never one to think they were trying to diss the Rockets, but it's almost as if they just forget about them all together or don't watch ANY games at all of them playing. It makes get the urge to write an email or letter to the guys telling them of what they are missing. But, of course as professional NBA analysts on a major network, you wouldn't think they needed leters from fans to clue them in.
