Wel if he is out i guess that moves JJ into the starting lineup which is a good thing for us. This also means that they have less depth than before (which was very little in the first place.

A nice, hard screen on Nash by Yao should take care of this game... ;)

    New streak: 3!!!

Nobody has mentioned this but Pho with Nash and AS have a very good pick and roll game. If they get a mismatch either AS is dunking it or Nash is shooting that fifteen footer. And if you double with another guy to stop the play they have good shooters on the perimeter. To me if the game is close in the end the key will be to stop this play.

If Houston plays smart efficient offense against Pho. (pound it inside with Yao) and rebounds well we have a chance to win.

It may be a little premature but i think if Houston wins Friday it is a stamp that they are really title contenders.

win!!!! What rockets need to do is make them play Defense? move the ball around, give yao the ball so amare can play D, hit nash with a screen every single time. if you are playing tough D than your offense will slow down. Make PhX do exactly that.

Focus cutting the pass routine of Steve Nash. if Nash decide to penetrate yo basket, withdraw Yao a little bit ,let nash score as will. Dont waste too much enegry in 1st half defense, save for the 2nd. Yao ming should talk with Refs as he did in the last game. And taking care of rebounds, esp long rebounds.
If rox can do all these, 100 83 rox win

I know Amare had 44, but those were 44 of the easiest pts i've ever seen in my life. Almost all were entirely uncontested layups and dunks.

I think we really have to play them man to man and not help at all. We just cannot leave Marion or Amare a lane to the hole.

I want to see how JVG works this fantastic guard rotation the Rockets have now. I'd like to think Sura gets a good 30 minutes in. Wesley a solid 32 min. James about 28. And Barry somewhere around 18 to 20. Of course if one of them catch fire that could all change. Also it will be interesting to see if Sura and James are on the court at the same time and how well they play together. And maybe with Marion at the four spot, Mcgrady can see some time at the four with James, Sura, and Wesley out on the court with him - that would be an interesting lineup to watch. Anyways, I feel that the Rockets have caught a little wave here that is building and they will be really riding high after they beat phoenix.

Our Transition D has to be Spot on. Stop nash creating fast breaks, slow down the Temp of the game. Primary offensive target has to be yao and Tracy and hit the boards hard. if we do all of that or atleast limit them, we'll be in good shape. nash is there engine.
