Episode III Trailer: Online, On Screens and On TV
    February 28, 2005

The much anticipated full release trailer for Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith is on its way. Consisting of over two minutes of new footage from the movie, the full trailer will soon appear on television, on starwars.com and in theaters.

First, on Thursday, March 10th at 8 p.m., be sure to tune in to FOX to catch an all new episode of "The O.C." During the broadcast, FOX will air the Episode III trailer.

The trailer will debut online for members of starwars.com Hyperspace after the broadcast (around 9:00 p.m. Pacific time). Lucas Online is pleased to have partnered with AOL and Moviefone.com to provide starwars.com readers with fast and reliable access to Episode III video content. Subscribers to AOL will be able to see the trailer at this time as well.

To see the Episode III trailer on the big screen, head out to movie theaters starting March 11th, with the debut of the new animated comedy, Robots. Featuring the voices of Ewan McGregor, Halle Berry, Greg Kinnear, Mel Brooks and Robin Williams, Robots is an animated family film from the people who brought you Ice Age, the film that debuted the Episode II trailer in theaters.

Regular visitors to starwars.com will be able to see the trailer online starting on March 14th. A large size version of the trailer will soon be made available only to Hyperspace members after that date.

So make a date to watch "The O.C.", make sure you're subscribed to starwars.com Hyperspace, and head on out to see Robots at a theater near you to make sure you catch as much of the Episode III trailer as you can.

This info was posted a week ago in this thread (http://bbs2.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=91800), and I'll probably merge later, but figured people might want to see this tonight.

Beside the point (and not much of a thread to derail), but the O.C. is the best show on TV.

    Rockets-1,
I beg to differ that the OC is the best show on TV. I think that has to go to a little show called LOST... That show is awesome... Actually makes you think and pay attention to little details. I love it. Plus it has some mighty fine actresses.... Nice way to be stuck on an island.

Money. Look at the conditions for being able to watch the trailer. Besides an appalling lack of imagination, for the last couple of decades, George Lucas shows repeatedly just what he now cares the most about, and that's...

Printed at a theatre near you for George Lucas, nick-named "Shameless Profiteer."

I've seen it too. It gave me chills. Too bad this is only 2 great minutes, and the rest of the 116 might dissappoint . . .

(On a totally random note---I just got the invite to an advance, advance critic's screening of "Year of the Yao"---it's going to be REAL hard to write an objective review on that one. Should I show up to the screening wearing a Yao jersey?)

I missed the first few episodes of Lost, and I refuse to watch shows if I miss something, so I really can't comment on it but it did look interesting. I'll rent it on DVD when it's out; I bet it will be good. However, if you are currently in high school or in college, The O.C. is great in so many ways. It will be the one Soap I will ever approve of. I respect anyone else's opinion, but O.C. is #1 in my book.

Also, Star Wars is awesome. Episode 3 has a good shot at being the 2nd best out of the 6.

What a dilema. I swore an oath on the Clutch Crews' graves that I'd never watch a single episode of the OC. Now, Fox has something just enticing enough to get my attention. Can I live with myself if I break my promise? Am I being to melodramatic? Will this post finally get me my own special title like "Hangout Boy" or "Running With Scissors?"

I watched the first 7 episodes when it started, and then got bored with the story. The girls are hot, but the guys appeared to be uptight lamos.

Of course that's just my opinion.

    I like LOST

it's nothing personal, just an easy target today..my fault;)

You don't have to watch The O.C. with the current state of the internet it will probably be on the web in minutes...or maybe it already leaked out? i'll throw in a link if I find something

I think you're right, KS. It's just that I've been ticked of at Lucas for years. He just destroyed such a great idea and series of movies with his gigantic ego, and apparently endless thirst for dollars. I have no doubt that I'll see the film when it comes out. I just wish Lucas had someone else writing the screenplay and directing. (sigh)
