    Wooooooo Hoooooooo

Like I said, the skins D was geared to stop the Rams O.

It was real good to have Green, and Shawn Barber back though. Big help on the defensive side.

Hate to say it but....... I told you guys so. [IMG]

Come playoff time, when we have the NFL MVP back, we'll blow you guys out like I've been saying. Let's take a look at what happened tonight.

    1. Rams without NFL MVP Kurt Warner.

    2. Marshall Faulk, the key to the Rams system, is not 100%.

    3. Torry Holt, one of the best wideouts in the game, drops pass after pass, including a fumble at the end of the first half that turned the game around.

    4. Redskins get completely lucky with an onside kick and then a Rams fumble on a kickoff in consecutive possessions.

    5. Trent Green makes some of the stupidest decisions I've seen any NFL QB make. I would have taken almost any other QB in the league tonight. Hell, even Ryan Leaf would have made better decisions than Green. Why the hell did he throw that pass in the end zone that Bailey picked off? There was no Rams receiver even near, and the one that was somewhat in the vicinity was on the ground. Look somewhere else or throw it away. Is it that hard? Then, when the Rams get the ball back on their one, Green holds the ball for what seems like an eternity in the endzone. HELLO!!! This team has Bruce Smith, one of the best pass rushers of all time. Get rid of the football! Then, Green proceeds to not find one man in 4 tries at the end of the game inside the ten.

You guys got every break imaginable tonight. But as far as I'm concerned, I know the Rams are the better team. They won't make those mistakes again come playoff time, and we will be 100%. Enjoy this while you can- the Rams will laugh all their way to Tampa.

Ummmm. Do you watch NFL football?

Please, none of of your excuses hold water. In every aspect of this game the Rams were beaten. There are no excuses. The rams were simply outplayed. Heck the Titans looked 8 million times better than the Rams did as an opponent.

On a somewhat related topic, I was a total dumbass in fantasy play.

I played as my two running backs Tiki Barber and Tim Biakabutuka, who I was under the impression that he would play.

My two benched running backs? Marshall Faulk, who I was under the impression would not play many minutes at all, and Fred Taylor, who would have been a judgment call along with Biakabutuka, had Tim played.

I still won, but just barely, and only due to the Ravens' defense and Trent Green's strong showing.

Oh yeah...I must admit, although I HATE the Redskins with a passion, Dreamshake's arguments are all very valid. I still believe the Rams to be a much stronger team with Warner in the lineup (because of the chemistry he has developed with those receivers), but it is very disheartening to me to see the Redskins successful. And no, I know that Warner in the lineup take has no substantial factual validity, it's just a personal opinion. I have the feeling this won't be the last time the two teams play, so I guess we'll find out in the end...

    Dreamshake,

I'm not trying to single you out, because many other people do it, heck even I do sometimes.

But, can you tell me why you copy and pasted and quoted The Cat's entire post?

It's not a huge deal, and I hope you don't think I'm being too big of a jerk, but I've been seeing more and more of "quote abuse" lately. It just makes for threads that are harder to read, IMHO.

I think I'll go to the feedback forum and start a thread about this.

    ----------------------------

Oh yeah, I think the Rams are a better team too. But, Warner has to be able to come off his injury and play well. If he doesn't then the rest of the team may lose confidence in him and start to wonder why Green is sitting on the bench. Also, Faulk is no Earl Campbell, nor is he an Emmitt Smith. He's not a real big guy, and he may not be able to continue taking the punishment week after week.

I dont know Dreamer...Actually since Clutch put that new quote icon up there I had never used it. I figured Id try the contraption out at least once.

Actually, I found it to make my post clearer. I initially posted it without his quote, and it seemed like one big rambling mess.

I can't believe you all would rather discuss the Rams and Giants instead of endless vote recounts and hanging chads!

    HOW 'BOUT THEM SKINS!!! [IMG]

How sad can it get? Knocked out of playoff contention (for all intents and purposes) with a 32-13 loss to the injury depleted and pathetic Cowboys? Unbelievable. I never have liked the 'Skins, but I'm stunned what's happened to them this season. A team that talented not being able to put it together... guess it proves money can't buy a football team like it can a baseball team. Seriously, good luck to you guys next season Dreamshake. Maybe you guys will get it turned around. I didn't think they were as good as the hype, but I never in my wildest dreams would have imagined this. Anyone else shocked by the 'Skins performance this season?
