6: US, Mexico, Canada, France, England (briefly), Spain (briefly), (and Texas ). Will add Switzerland this summer and hopefully Italy while I'm in the neighborhood.
That I can remember: North and Central America: Canada US Mexico Guatemala Nicaragua Costa Rica Belize Honduras El Salvador Panama Jamaica Bahamas Puerto Rico US Virgin Isl Europe: England Scotland Ireland Wales France Italy Greece Turkey Holland Asia: Japan India Thailand Africa: Morocco All personal trips...i do no business travel! Still haven't been to South America (trip cancelled two years ago...or Australia (seems so far...).. I suppose I could count a few more countries through which I was carried about as a tot...but I don't have any memories of those. For those who've *only* been to the USA -- remember the Excited States is a huge and diverse country. A road trip from Houston to NewYork would probably 'earn' you eight or nine countries on this list if a similar journey were taken in Europe!
You example is more off base since Scotland doesn't field its own Olympic team but Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, Guam and US Samoa all field their own Olympic teams. Hong Kong fields its own Olympic team has its own flag, money and parliament. You need a visa to travel from Hong Kong to China and you get a seperate stamp on your passport. Hong Kong under those standards is much more a separate country than Scotland or even many European countries.
Considering I've barely been out of Texas to go visit anywhere else in the US, I'm going to have to admit to being a huge loser and say that I've never been out of the US even though I could have at least driven down to Mexico about a zillion times. *hangs head*
I voted the psshhh 20? hmmm i have to think about this one. Indonesia Thailand England France Germany Czech Republic Switzerland Italy Spain USA Malta Bolivia Argentina Columbia Saudi Arabia United Arab Emirates Baharain Jordan Turkey Hungary Canada Nether Lands (Holland) Malaysia Austria Singapore still thinking of more.... I will be back in Switzerland this summer with some friends, I can't wait!
Mexico Costa Rica Jamaica Canada England Ireland Netherlands Belgium Luxemburgh Spain Germany Austria France Monte Carlo Italy Greece Switzerland Czech Rep China Taiwan Macau (pre China) Hong Kong (pre and post China) Tibet India Philippines Cambodia Thailand Japan Saudi Arabia (just the airport, but still) Vatican City
And Texas has it's own legislature. What do you call the UK? Do N. Ireland, Wales or Scotland have ambassadors to England? To any other countires at all? IMO, the UK situation would be very much like Texas within the Uinted States IF individual States had much more legislative power.
France, England, Wales, Scotland, Switzerland, Italy, China, New Zealand, Holland, Australia and the ole' USA
Canada Mexico England France Germany India Malaysia Singapore Japan South Korea Not that many actually. But 10 more than I wish I had been too (I hate to travel).
Then Texas is a country too, except Uncle Sam has something to say in Texas. BTW, all the European countries dont count. They are too close to each other. All of them just count as one country.
Germany East Germany Israel "Palestine" Peru Chile St. Martin St. Bart Iceland Denmark Sweden Netherlands UK France Italy Switzerland Belgium Canada
