I think it was either 87 or 88 against the Mavericks at the Summit. Ron Harper ripped my heart out and ate it on center court.

I don't remember the date (or even the exact year) but I was a huge Ralph Sampson fan (the reason I became a Rockets fan -- I guess I was a ROF). My brothers were big Barkley fans so we got tickets to see Houston in Philly. Great seats (on the floor). Barkley even came over and talked to us during the pre-game shoot around-- and, of course, Ralph, was hurt.

A few months later we got tickets to see Houston in Washington (before they moved down town) and once again Ralph was hurt.

I don't really remember who won either game -- but my brothers got Hakeem's (still going by Akeem at the time) autograph -- but it is on a Washington program.

Don't remember the exact year but me and friend got a pair of tickets for like $10 off an ad from the Box I think, they were nose bleed seats. It was against the Warriors when they had Hardaway and Mullen

Yes! I loved those. The ones for Yellow Cab, right? He's in a gym standing with a basket behind him. As Elvin gave the phone number to the camera he tossed the ball backwards over his head and it swished through the basket. Those were great!

I remember going in 1991 around Febuary I think when Akeem (pre Hakeem days) got his eye injury he got from getting elbowed from Bill Cartwright and had to wear goggles for the next 2-3 seasons. I think my dad wanted to go to see Jordan play. I even remember moving down to the lower bowl and asked my dad "why dont we buy these seats?" :p

Then I remember going to a game that same season in which Akeem played his first home game after he came back from the injury. I begged my dad to go because they were giving away goggles as a giveaway. When we got them, I was dissapointed because they were foam props, in which I thought it was the actual goggles themselves... (hey I was 9 at the time :p )

Next Monday (the 14th) against Golden State.

Geez I'm stoked. I've been following the Rockets since they drafted the Dream, but they don't often play in New Mexico (where I lived until recently), so I never got to see them. Now that I'm here in the Bay Area, I hope to catch them once or twice a year.

    My first Rocket game???

I don't remember the year but DR J was on his farewell tour that year.

My seat got called for the Halftime Shot for the car (probably was a yugo that long ago)

I clanked it off the rim but I still remember the 12 year old kid who sank from midcourt and won that car but I got a DR J autograph and loved it all

First game was in 87, court seats, against the Bucks with Terry Cummings.

Best Game? Been to watch Olajuwon put clinic's on everyone, watched GP and Kemp put us to shame, watched the last second half court shot by Vernon Maxwell, Game 7 vs. Knicks... man the list goes on and on. Satisfied Rox Fan

My dad took me in 1972 I was a baby but my dad said I somehow was hooked after that.

My dad was born in San diego where he lived when they were the San Diego Rockets and the Maloof brothers owned them.

After they were sold to Charlie thomas my dad requested a transfer to Houston....I guess Rockets runs in our blood:p

the last year Moses Malone played for the Rockets, 82, it was a playoff game against the suns i think, moses dominated, like 35 points 15 boards in a playoff win.

Wasn't that be the Maloof brothers' dad that owned the San Diego Rockets... or did he and his brother own them making two sets of Maloof Brothers as NBA owners?
