It would kinda suck if Derrick Johnson was on the board at 13 because we wouldn't have anywhere to put him.

    www.morlongreenwood.com is his website

He was just on 790 am and he said they told him he will probably play Ilb. He said he can play outside if needed. He supposedly was a very good wrestler in jamaica and started football late in his h.s. career. He seems like a really good guy. He supposedly makes music as well. he also wanted to say he only makes his music in the offseason during the season he is all football all the time. He will update his site soon.

No i dont think he will get more opportunities. The point Im making is that you shouldnt judge him on how many "sacks" he gets.

He will be ILB along with Sharper. Wong and Babin will remain on the outside, with Peek seeing some time at that spot as well.

Phillyrocket -- I respect your opinion, so we'll see how it works out. I don't think this is an earth shattering signing -- Greenwood is a solid player that has some speed. He'll certainly be an improvment over Foreman, who's often a step behind and and below average in coverage. It was painful watching him try to cover TEs and backs.

But you are correct that it's not a signing that makes a big "splash" or gets the attention of most fans. Hopefully it will work out better than Clemons and Mitchell, the two examples you cite.

Greenwood's job is to add sideline-to-sideline speed and youth to the ILB spots. He is a sure tackler with excellent coverage skills. Greenwood should improve both the run and pass defense. With his speed (and good play from the NT) Greenwood adds a real blitz threat next to Sharper.

If anything, Greenwood's signing threatens Wong and Foreman, not Peek. The ESPN article blurb about moving Wong to ILB may have been before the Greenwood signing. No telling if Wong's move changes now. I think Greenwood is an upgrade over Foreman. It may take a while for Greenwood to learn the system, but at any rate, Foreman is about to lose his starting job.

Here is the Texans' take: http://www.houstontexans.com/news/news_detail.php?PRKey=1571

    Greenwood just won the lotto.

If the Texans were so concerned with losing out on Sharper and Foreman, they shoulda made a full court press to get Hartwell. Instead they overpay for mediocre filler.

Being a Dolphin fan I can tell you the kid has a motor and can play but I think the Texans overpaid.
