    PF

Who are better for the Rox in your opinion?

Cato, MoTay, Padgett, Spoon vs. Howard, Padgett, Spoon, Baker

I'd have to still say last years PF were better.

Well basically it comes down to Howard vs. Cato since Spoon, Padgett, and Mo (for most of the season) were still here last year. The way Howard has been playing lately i would take him over Cato but Cato brings toughness and helped Yao stay out of foul trouble. As of right now i think i would take Howard over Cato but its a tough call.

You guys aren't talkin' bout the pre 2004 Cato? Right?

    Cuz that guy SuX!!!!

Let's all thank last year because that gave him some value in the T-Mac trade!

Our offense would be crap with Cato at the PF spot.

When is the last time we had a power-forward. Seriously. Everybody knows we will never have a powerforward so let's get over it and move on. Whoever the best journeyman is he will be on our team, I am resigned to that fact, and no other.

Yes the 4 spot with Cato was better for Yao last year. However this year, the team is better after all the transactions.

Howard over Cato no question. Howard can knock down open jumpers. Cato couldn't. Howard also plays a bit smarter (probably because of his experience) - and is more consitent. Cato gets the edge as an "indtimidating" inside presence - but thats it. And IMO - Howard is just as effective defensively - even though he is not as intimidating.

With Sura here to compensate for Howard’s weaknesses, Howard is the better fit.

If this team didn’t have Sura, I’d rather have Cato.

hey...is Glenn Robinson available off the waivers?

Would the Rockets be interested with Robinson?

I like this years PF combo. We get offense and rebounding and hustle. The others were just overpaid, overrated PFs.

Howard has been huge, posting up and rebounding the ball. Better than Cato-Taylor of last year. I think Spoon should get more minutes. He's tough and can rebound and hit the midrange shot.

Glenn "Big Dog" Robinson is a primadonna small forward with no ability to be a physical presence inside on offense or defense. He also creates lockerroom problems everywhere he goes it seems. He does nothing to solve the lack of toughness at the power forward spot next to Yao, and would more than likely disrupt the team chemistry in the process.

At this point, Big Dog is all bark and no bite as a player anyway.

Juwon Howard is doing a pretty good job for now but we have to either draft or sign a young guy next year.

Udonis Haslem/Tyson Chandler/Stromile are the only possibilites i see in decreasing likelyhood of acquisition.

My bet is that they will use the 1rst round pick on a PF rather then a PG. I don't see them breaking the bank for a PF in the free agency.

Robert Horry on the 2nd championship run was basically playing PF.
