If I remember correctly, we put Sura to IR after we acquired Mike James. That was after the game with San Antonio. Jazz, Bulls and Wiz, so Sura has to wait at least two more games to return.
Correct. 5 games are Utah, Bulls, Wiz, Dallas, Seattle. That means Sura could come back for the March 11th game on the road against Phoenix.
That's what I thought. 610 said they thought the IR was retroactive to when he was injured and not when we placed him on IR. I also thought (I didn't catch it all) 610 was reporting that Howard was excited about Sura's return. I wasn't sure if that meant Sunday.
Ok someone needs to clear this up, I always thought it was from the day the player was placed on the IR not the day they get hurt..
i think a team can wait a couple of games, but still make it retroactive to the first game he missed for the IL. i'm pretty sure 610 reported this.......
I heard the same thing on 610 but iam not sure if they are correct. I thought it was 5 games AFTER he got put on the IL not when he got injured. So that means he should miss 2 more games.
I was watching NBA Fastbreak or NBA Nation on ESPN this week and they showed the highlights of the Rocket game from that very night and afterwards I believe I heard them half way mention Sura coming back for the weekend. I guess take it for what it's worth.
I believe your right. I remember 610 saying that since he missed two games before being put on the IL, he only has to be on the IL for three games.
man if you are right thats great news. I would think that 610 or someone else would actually have a link or some proof of this since it is actually big news.
