It doesn't matter how far Beaumont is from El Paso, it's not far enough.

Wisconsin's and Florida's whooping crane population is re-introduced. That's what they meant by remaining - last naturally remaining crane population.

I didn't know the state pledge until it was posted here. What kind of Texan am I? All of the sudden I'm disgusted with myself. What would Hank Hill say to me right now?

Oh yeah, Austin was originally called Waterloo, but was renamed for Stephen F. Austin in 1839, but when the Mexicans invaded a few years later, they moved the capital to Houston, then to Washington-on-the-brazos, and then back to Austin.

The San Jacinto is taller than the Washington Monument by one foot thanks to the star on the top.

And both George Bushes are YANKEES. They're from the Northeast. Neil, Jeb, and Doro Bush were born in Midland.

There is even a place called "Wayne's Texas BBQ" in Anchorage AK. I've heard its not too too bad though. Didn't get to go there last time, but I'll try to eat there next time I'm up there. Maybe Molotov Cocktail can hit it up and let us know.

Louisiana History and Texas History both... Louisiana is pretty interesting if not as significant as Texas

also, I post naked and I'm from Texas, so that is relevant
