i'm thinking some LoneStar to celebrate the occassion. it is the National Beer of Texas, mind you. and Deck, thanks for bringing back my favorite sig of all time.
Yeah, but Lone Star is owned by like Miller or Coor's now. Drink a real Texas beer such as St Arnolds or Real Ale.
luckily i can say i've drank ales from both breweries on countless occassions! Real Ale is Real popular (ha!) over here since their brewery is only about 20 minutes away. and St. Arnolds Lawnmower is the greatest beer ever made. ever. how bout this..... i'll buy a 6-pack of Lawnmower, 6-pack of Blanco Pale Ale, and a 6-pack Shiner and celebrate by getting real tanked Texas style. I LOVE TEXAS!
I wish it were easy to find Real Ale. I've seen it at Rudyards and Flying Sauce, and that's it. Both the Pale Ale and Fireman's 4 are awesome. No stores carry it yet as far as I know.

Nope, 44. And yes, it's me. Today is BDay #44 for yours truly. Went to Hooters for lunch to get my 10 free birthday wings, and heading out to dinner with my folks tonight. I have Friday off, so Thursday night is when the real festivities begin.
In first period today, some girl walks up to me and was like, "Did you know that it's the Texas Independence Day today?" I told her I didn't and she said that she heard it on the radio, and it reminded her of me.
