If you take a ESPN Motion right now... They asked all the ESPN commentators "what will we see in the 2nd half of the season?"

    Greg Anthony:

"Tracy Mcgrady becomes a legitimate mvp candidate in the 2nd half of the season. You've never heard that talk before"

    I don't see why not....

With Lebron's game fizzling a bit and the Twolves not in the playoffs as of now.. there's only Duncan, Shaq and maybe AI in the running.... I'm not buying the Steve Nash crap...and I'm not sure if they're really going to give Duncan his 3rd MVP if Shaq has only one...

I think if Mcgrady realizes that he's in the running.. he'll turn it up another notch..like his first scoring champion season... I would love for the "MVP" chanting to start this early.. I think it'll get him pumped up..

What are you not buying in Steve Nash? He's the assist leader by far and his team is tops in the NBA.

Duncan, Shaq, AI, Lebron, Nash are probably the leaders w/ Wade and Allen behind them.

Steve Nash is great but he's playing with the most talented roster in the league... yes he makes them all come together.. but as you can see, the Suns are learning to with without him... and Marion and Amare have really shouldered the load on defense in all of the games...

Of all the MVPs you've named... which one has the best team without them? I think the Suns by far...

    Tmac is a part-time MVP.

Yep, the Suns are like 1-4 w/o Nash this season.

yeah. might be because he's sore or something but it'd be nice if he tried 100%..maybe it's just how he plays..to reserve energy and stuff..but lol consistency! :)

If I was a Mavs fan, I'd be throwing up my arms in the air due to the fact that Steve Nash is no longer with the team. He makes the Suns better, sure. But the Mavs are also a better team without him.

    G. Anthony has been riding TMac's jock all season! Nothing against Tracy, but he's not playing aggressive enough to be considered, IMO.

Yea, I'm calling you out TMac. Step it up!!

Look at the source it's Greg Anthony, when is the last time he ever made an accurate prediction? T-Mac has no chance at an MVP based on the first 50 games, Nash, Wade, Shaq are the front runners IMO, for T-Mac to win the MVP he is going to have to have a hell of a last 30 games and playoffs.

I don't think he bases it on T-Mac's numbers, but his ability to lead this team that is essentially being built on the fly.
