Someone at a Hog board just said that his official time was a 4.48, just two hundreths of a second off of Ronnie Brown's time. Matt is perhaps the most exciting and frustrating player to watch in all of college football...as a quarterback. Obviously, he doesn't have what it takes to be an NFL QB. But as a QB he can make something out of nothing almost every play, provided he gets a split second to react. It would be interesting to see him play some TE, especially if he could learn how to block. If he got down the blocking schemes, I think he'd be an all-pro tight end. With his athleticism and leaping ability he'd make a heck of a tight end. To start his career though, I see him in as that slot receiver, in motion a lot
Clarett will still get drafted. He wasn't known for his speed and by all accounts he came to the Combine in really good shape.
i dont care if this thread is about clarice.... matt jones is going to be a damn good nfl player. i remember watching him in those games against UT. he is fast and talented as hell.
Right...I get that they're buckeye leaves or whatever, but what's the story behind them? Why do some helmets have more than others/different arrangements? Some kind of achievement thing? Seniority?
He wasn't known for his speed. He wasn't known for his power. He's not especially shifty. He's got kind of an ego. Undrafted Free Agent.
Yeah, some schools give out stickers after games for noteworthy plays or performances by individual players. It's an achievement thing. More stickers equals more playmaking.
Jones, from Arkansas, ran the fastest time ever by a quarterback at the NFL combine, unofficially clocked at 4.41 seconds in the 40-yard dash.
Most sites have listed Vick between at 4.33 - 4.36 http://www.jsonline.com/packer/rev/apr01/quarterback-michaelvick.asp http://www.21cent.net/vick/vicknews.htm
