It actually started in the Saturday's road game in Miami. The jury is still out on him in that position but Jameer seemed like a smashing success as their starting point guard. But then again it is too early to tell.

Steve looked terrible on national TV, he is playing like a child while Grant Hill is playing like a true all star

5-16 tonight. About to lose to Shaq-less Miami. Looks like the experiment that we were once hoping for is turning out to be a fiasco.

The trade is looking so good for us. I just love it.

Grant Hill w/ another spectacular game too.

I thought many people on this board said SF should be a 2 anyway.

anyone notice how francis pulled out his jersey and walked off the court towards the locker room while there was still time on the clock? I know the game is over and all but I thought it was still pretty classless/unsportsman like to just walk off like that with about 6 secs left towards the locker room when all his other teammates were still on the floor waiting for the clock to run out.

I know of late SF hasnt gotten along too well with the magic team as a whole lately with his remarks in the media but watching him out there makes me think that he wont be staying in Orlando for a long time. I expect to see SF in a different jersey by opening night next season

I think it was a collision with him and AI in that recent game between them.

This is the flaw of Stevie. He can penetrate and find guys, but he has a score first attitude. His turnovers, however, keep you from wanting to use him as the main ball handler. But when we take the ball out of his hands, he just cannot do anything out there. No catch and shoot ability. It was very frustrating last year to see him catch the ball and pass up an open shot, only to dribble and let the defense recover.

Not a point guard you can count on to run the team effectively. No shooting guard skills. I just don't get it, how hard can it be to catch the ball and shoot it? And couldn't he have improved on that skill during his 5 years in the league?

i still think Steve is a very good player, he has some bad games, this was one of them. But he is still veru good. I will always support him.

But i'm glad we got T-Mac because he is just better

Wow, what happened to Stevie? What a difference a year makes, he didn't even get voted in for the all-star game. I wasn't particularly a fan of his game but right now, I feel sorry for the guy.

Stevie has won a lot of games for the Magic this year with clutch plays. I can name 4 or 5.

But he's also lost a lot of games with his turnover and ballhogging skills.

Well.. aren't the turnover and ballhogging skills what cause those "clutch" situations? :p

    Steve isn't a 2 either. He's a street baller.

I always thought he would be better at the 2 spot.

I'm thinking this was the plan all along once Cuttino was traded. He's a scoring guard, however you term it, like Wade or AI.
