    Thanks CBROWN,
Forgot to mention, we started talking about the upcoming schedule. He said he hasn't had the chance to download it into his palm pilot, but he knows March is gonna be tough.

I told him they would be alright and I was expecting them to kick Utah's ass on Sunday. He smiled and said they (the Rockets) we planning on it!

damn that is an awesome story. i cant wait to see him cheering with that enthusiam of his on the bench during the Rockets championship drive. The only thing is with 13,OO) dollars he could have bought some leather bound classic books with that and made a nice little library.

Oh my... not good, not good at all!

I had many many experiences in meeting players the day before a game and chatted about the upcoming game. Every time, the player would say "yeah, we are gonna beat those guys, we have to and we will"... something like that. However, the next day, the team would lose, and usually in either a heart-breaking way or a blowout way.

It doesn't matter it's a Pro or College games, football or basketball games, this is always true. My team lose when I talk to a team member the day before a game day. Now, I always restrain myself from talking to players before games. I wish you don't have the curse that I do...

The worst thing can happen today is that we lose to the Jazz. I don't hate the Jazz like other members do, but the Jazz stinks like the Great Salt Lake this year, and if we lose to them, that would be a horrible setback. Today at church, I'll pray for the Rockets.

This has either got to be the West Oaks or Sugarland Best Buy. Then again, I saw MoT at the I-10/Fry Road Best Buy once. Great story, but I would have went to Tweeters. ;)

....and I echo the general thought that Mooch is a great person but a lousy bball player.

Good job, Gladiator. I'm glad you were a nice guy to him, instead of acting like a dick to him as some of the posters around here do. I really think Moochie will be serviceable on the court and will play within JVG's system.

somehow, I doubt that any posters here would have the guts to act like a dick to him to his face.

Yeah, Mooch is a great guy... Some of the members here have been complaining that we got Moochie back, but I think he will be a better fit this time around... not saying he's improved his game, I just think he knows his role... he knows what got him traded away last time... and he truly loves the people of Houston. That right there is going to motivate him to be at this best when he gets some PT, even if it's only 5 minutes a night.

What's all this fuss about Mooch? I hope he does well and all, but the fact of the matter is that he was basically a throw-in to get rid of MoT. Taylor's value came down to Mooch and Baker and the fact that we save a bunch of cap space and contract years.

As far as playing on the court, forget it. If Sura comes back healthy, as we all hope/expect him to, Mooch will be relegated to 3rd string PG, playing maybe 7 minutes a game.

All that being said, welcome back Mooch, and good luck while you're on the court.

    %^@#@#$*&*$! &*%#$@#! Son of $%$#%^&^*@#!@!

Why can't I escape this? When I feel our team is gonna lose, usually without a good reason, we lose.

    *&^%%$$#@!
