Man I got the flu and I've got it bad. I was wondering if anyone knew the best medicine (over the counter) to take. Also does anyone have any home remedies they have used that work. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
I just got over the flu, really the best thing is just fever reducer/pain reliever and sleep. Drinking orange juice is a good thing. Green tea works wonders too. Also, watch out for lingering congestion. I ended up getting a sinus infection through flu complications, so i had to go back to the doctor to get antibiotics. My friend had the flu at the same time i did, and he had codeine from when he got his wisdom teeth cut out, so he took that and Nyquil. He seemed to be back on his feet a few days earlier than me. But the flu sucks. Sorry to hear you got it.
Antibiotics for the flu (a virus)? This is why we need stronger and stronger antibiotics all the time. Anitbiotics are for bacterial infections, they have no effects on viruses.
