heheh. nothing really. just an old argument that i had with someone several years back. anyway, i prefer the latter. just wanted to hear which you believed in and reasons why. anyway... not hitting chronic, but "gordon's dry gin" is kicking my arse right now. good stuff. edit... just noticed that i sure do use the word "anyway" a lot when i type.
By default, respect all others. Remove your respect for others only if they demonstrate that they deserve to have it removed. -- droxford
Isn't about the same thing? I respect those who treat others with respect. In that way it is gained. And what droxford said.
I like them both for numerous reasons but I prefer the former simply because I choose to recpect all human beings equally to be best of my ability. That said, I must add that my up bringing thought me the fundamental respect for my elders and parents. That is the root of why we say respect begins at home.
I saw this thread and immediately thought of track number two on Adam Sandler's "What the Hell Happened to Me" CD. That's some funny stuff. R - E - S - P - S..... "What the ****!" ... "I got confoosed" Anyways, I'd go with the second one. It's like the "Golden Rule." -- Treat others how you would want them to do unto you... or something like that.
