and shows of that nature ? What do you guys think of them ? Is it wrong to use them as a source of information ? They've had alot of eye-opening info for me. But, these guys do have sponsors and such, so do these shows have intentions other than "informing the public ?" ------------------ "There are two players carrying the Rockets right now. I watch show like that. Dateline is also quite interesting. I'm not really sure why one would care about whether they have sponsors or other such entities which allows the network to earn more money. Isn't the purpose of almost all sources of information to make money (with the exception of guys like Clutch )? I'm sure that you obviously have to take all that they give you with a watchful eye, but this is not to say that you don't have to do that will all information you receive. After all, information can be twisted and analysis together with acceptance is often up to the individual. I actually find it quite interesting that those shows often give the two sides of the story, and hold a poll to see which side the audience agrees with. So, what I'm basically saying is that these shows are most often informative but can often go to an extreme just to go with a certain popular opinion or just to give a radical point of view. I often find this with John Stossel's reports (sp.). ------------------ Nederland 2002 Rocketman95 on board. Check out his latest game recaps.
