Sorry to get your panties in a twist, but......THE MOVIE SUCKED! IT'S TRUE! IT'S TRUE! I would explain why it sucked so bad but my sixth sense tells me you are a JACK ASS and cannot relate to intelligent discussion!

I didn't think it was too bad. I was not happy with the ending, but I found it pretty interesting up to that point. When I was leaving the theater, I overheard a woman say it was the biggest waste of 2 hours she's ever endured. I thought it was a bit of an exxageration, but apparently others feel just as strongly.

But if you take my opinion on movies at all seriously (and why shouldn't you?), Unbreakable was pretty good but had an ending that was not an utter success.

Geez, take it easy. RM95 was joking. Everyone has opinions and no one is "wrong". Lighten up.

Yea JuanValdez, it was like salt in the wound because the same thing happened to me, I was heading for the exits feeling disappointed and all I could hear was people,(especially women) saying "how bad this was" or "how disappointing". It confirmed my feelings and i really wish I would have went to something else. It's unfortunate because I liked the Sixth Sense, and i realize the two are completely different, but why are they marketing this movie by constantly using the sixth sense reference? It had a poor ending! The plot could have been much better! Beyond that, I guess it's a decent movie but they could have done better!

    Wow-
Were we all at the same theater. I also overhear some women saying how bad it was on the way out.

Personally, I wasnt that dissapointed. I will say that this is DEFINITELY one of those movies that you either love or hate, as plainly obvious by this thread. But the end was very interesting to me. It was so sudden and while not enormously surprising at first, it definitely makes you think. And up until that point the move was developing into a fairly good drama.

I can say one thing. If you are tired of seeing Bruce Willis, a mother like figure (this time Robin Wright Penn), and a kid with a lot of acting time, in a movie with little "action" then you dont want to see this.

One cool thing though, is that the football field in the movie is Franklin Field at the University of Pennsylvania, where I currently go to school, and some kids around here were extras in those scenes. And Ive been on those stairs Samuel L. Jackson is walking down numerous times--there really isnt a turnstyle at the bottom though.

Just thought Id pass that along [IMG]

Oops! I forgot that in my: "acting-like-I-was-upset-response-but-really-wasn't-post", but I was really just joking!!!! [IMG] . See, I succeeded in capturing the ironic, twisting surprise ending from the fantastic movie "Unbreakable". [IMG] . Man, lol, I had you all!!! I feel like a genius! I planned and purposefully propogated this turn at the end of the thread to illustrate my salute to one of the better movies of the year!!!
Gosh, I outdid myself! [IMG] Maybe I should change my moniker to M. Night! Hmmmmm..Maybe, maybe no.... [IMG]

Wow. I think you beat my record for the number of smilies in one post (a post that isn't all about smilies and is actually with the topic) [IMG] Anyways, add to that list of movies to NOT watch:

    Little Nicky

I know, i know you saying "But damn! THe commercials looked funny as hell!" But, yet the movie in general sucks. You couldn't hear Adam Sandler through half the movie. I liked the scenery and backgrounds but the plot sucked.

Francis out top, 9 seconds on the clock, he gives a no look pass to Cuttino Mobley, 4 seconds left, Mobley passes to an open Langhi in the corner with 1 second left! Langhi at the buzzer.......YES!!! How Sweet It Is!!

Thanks, because I thought about seeing that movie!! Talking about "the devil" - I wanted to see Bedazzled but didn't get the chance [IMG]
Anyway, did anyone see it and do you recommend it?
